The problem is you can't cancel or PORT until after it is impacting you...so, after 1/1/2009... ...what this means is that usually in a case like this, you loose your number, because they end up cancelling it right then and there... I did this last year...called in and said to cancel...the lady said I had to call back on 1/1/2009 or later to do it. I was fine and dandy with that...but then, realized I would not be getting a better price...

Sort of off the main topic, but what handset has sprint released lately. This is/almost the Christmas season. It seems that every major carrier, except sprint has released numerous handsets; some top end and others. Where are the sprint handsets?

I have been having some problems with service over the past week or so, in the San Diego area. In particular at my college USD. Usually the service is clear and full signal. But recently, I get signal faded all the time, and also it seems to be switching to roaming a lot more. My phone usually never roams, unless I am on campus. Just wondering if there is any updates, or ...

I have been a Tmobile customer since 2004 and I have had great service and an awesome rate plan, but I am now in the need to reduce my monthly bills and the sprint everything plan is looking really good to someone like me because I can do a few hacks and turn the phone into a modem and get rid of my cable internet and save about 40$ a month. Now, i could get the android again, ...

I'm very happy to see a Sprint tower going up in the small town I live in! Verizon and ATT already have a (shared) tower in town and so I've been hoping Sprint would add a cell site here as well. If I look at their on-line coverage map I'm in a void with coverage on all sides so this new tower will fill a hole in coverage. Not that it was terrible but it could be better. The ...

I am looking for a new phone and I like a lot of what I see with the new touch screens but see it being an issue/challenge when switching from classic flip/button phone to a touch screen. Matt Kapko Wednesday November 19, 2008, 6:30 pm EST Outsourcing is now standard among cellphone carriers, whether it's for call centers or retail sales. But as Sprint (NYSE: S - News) Nextel looks for ways to right its listing ship, it is mulling a fairly dramatic outsourcing effort that could involve thousands of its IT and network-operations employees, the Kansas City ...

I'm looking to upgrade my Mogul to a Touch Pro probably within a few months and just wondering what I should be looking out for. Seems that I should check for a clear ESN. How would I know if it's clean or not? Is it a specific number code assigned to each Sprint branded phone or to the phone number?

I am in an area that has "good" and some "great" reception all around the area on Sprint's mobile service reception page.
