Then a person probably couldn't reach any emergency number. I did see where the VI and PR reached an agreement to transfer numbers to the right department. First though they had to give a list of current numbers as the ones on file were out of service. That is sad that PR didn't have the correct numbers when they were getting calls from the VI.

Now that you guys mention it, I've seen the same thing happening on my Mogul lately too. It also might explain why some of my direct connect sessions on my Renegade have been inexplicably dropping too.

This question has been discussed/argued/wrestled with/ etc/ etc for several months/years now. And I have no intention of giving up what we've been calling a legacy plan, just to get a handset upgrade. I guess one can't blame sprint for offering these higher priced plans, and for some, they may well be worth it, but not me. OTOH, I didn't even want to move from vision to pv, but doing so was a good move, but it was at only a...

D12d, I work for Comcast, and have experience porting Verizon HOME numbers, and I have to say, they are bastards when it comes to just letting go of a number. They make it as inconvenient as humanly possible, and then blame the new company to make them look bad. I've also seen them "lose" a few phone numbers instead of letting them port out, then claim Comcast dropped the ball. However, Verizon will reassign that number...

I would say that the Pre stopped being Sprint's flagship device the moment the Hero came out. At present, Sprint doesn't have an exclusive flagship device. The Pre just isn't that exciting a device. The applications people thought would happen just aren't coming out. Palm's still stuck well under 500 apps while android is at over 10,000 and the iPhone above 100,000. It's a ...

Sprint is the only major carrier that requires a 2-year contract for any new line, even if you bring your own equipment. You may be able to open a line contract-free depending on who you talk to, but that's more of an exception to the rule.

Try to get one of the Everything Data plans with a $20 reoccurring credit. You'd also be able to stack a corporate discount on top of that.
