thank god. I love the phone, but a few minor quirks are driving me insane.

About 6 months ago I did the Free Wap hack and was getting free Internet. But because of another data program i use it became necessary to buy the vcast 15/month package. I tried to reverse the hack but I am stuck. I now go to the page that asks me to subscribe but it won't let me subscribe. I think it is because the DNS servers are still altered. Flashing the phone did not fix...

Hopefulyl we can share some little tips and secrets that we have discovered with the glyde. People probably know some of these already but let's share. 1) You can mess with the star constellation wallpaper that it comes with. You can move the star/lines around and "create your own" constellation. Kinda cool. 2) When browsing the web, you can push the volume buttons to ...

I formated the card on the flipshot, which created folders on the memory card. I then connected the card to my computer, and copied a single mp3 into the music folder. When I go to Music on my phone, it doesn't show up. What do I need to do to use my own unprotected mp3's? Thanks in advance! -sab

Does anyone have a tutorial for importing my own ringtones into the Samsung u550? My wife has the u540 and it was no problem importing ringtones into hers using Bitpit. With the u550, the file structure is different. I can't find the /brew/mod/mr directory to import my ringtones into. Any advice?

OFFICIAL u940 GLYDE BUG LIST Heres the deal. There is a kid that goes to my high school and his dad is really high up with verizon and knows all the programmers. If you guys can make a list of BUGS/DESIRED FEATURES of the Glyde, I can give it to this kid and he said he would give it to his dad. This kid couldn't believe I had the Glyde today in school, he knew all about it...

Use this thread to post questions and answers about the Samsung Glyde (such as loading mp3 files, connecting with bluetooth, using the browser, messaging, get-it-now, etc.). I would suggest that before you post a question, that you should first look for the answer. This will cut down on "double posting" and keep the thread size manageable.
