This phone is going to end up being another i930. I remember waiting almost a year for that phone to be released mostly due to "bugs" having to be worked out... I really don't know how much longer I can wait... I have been due for an upgrade for almost a year now, but there is not one single nextel phone that's worth getting yet. But, then again, I have had this i930 for almost 3 years now and yet the phone has...

Honestly Motorola really did nothing to help iDEN, there was no real evolution path like CDMA or GSM.. WiDEN was the worst idea but it was something easy to set up... Look at 1x to EVDO you get better everything capacity, quality,speed...

I just posted this in the new phone sticky thread but I thought it was worthy of it's own thread. According to BlackberryNews.com, it looks like Blackberry will be launching an iDEN version of the Curve, the Blackberry 8350. It will have 802.11b/g and possibly launch with OS version 4.6.1. Here's a link and a pic. http://www.blackberrynews.com/2008/...lackberry-83 50/...

I was wondering if Nextel would still activate an i700 plus because at my cabin up north, the only Nextel phones that seem to get a stable signal are the really old bar style nextel brick phones. My buddy has an i700 through work still and it will get 2-3 bars where all of my Nextel phones do not get enough signal to make a decent call. I was thinking of buying a yellow one ...

I went home and my mom tells me her phone has not been receiving picture messages for about a month now. She said she can send and receive texts messages, and she can even send pic messages but she cannot receive them. So, I figured while we were out I would take her to the repair center to have them take a look at the issue (sometimes its easier just to let them call and deal with ...

Last week I called to a person in the Nextel International center and they told me that in Mexico, whoever initiates the call pays for it because that's how it works downthere... meaning that if a person calls me from the USA, or on MEXICO to my NEXTEL in Mexico, they pay for the charge and I don't get billed. But If I called them, in the USA or MEXICO it's $99 cents a minute or $69...

There was a launch party in my town for the new 8350I and I got my hands on one tonight. Well talked to Rim tonight at the 8350I event/launch party and they confirmed a Dec 1 /2nd launch date online order only. She did state the models we played with at this event have a trackball that was to recessed to deeply and that problem is being corrected before the launch. That ...

I am trying to use an i425 for tracking purposes. I only need to have the phone on while the vehicle is on. If I hook it to a cigarette lighter socket that is only on when the car is on, eventually the battery will die. I am good with that as long as I can get the phone to turn on automatically when the lighter charger is powered again. Any ideas?
