LG Shine Battery?

I guess I was too used to my Samsung r610 which lasted around 5 days on a full charge.

Or so that's the rumour, see: http://mobilesyrup.com/2010/02/07/r...rk-in-aprilmay/ FWIW, a sales person at a Koodo kiosk told me back in November or December that Koodo would start selling SIMs around April. He said he hadn't heard anything about data plans or smart phones, but with Wind going live, that wouldn't be unexpected.

LG Shine Battery?

LG Shine battery sucks, it's just a fact of life. I have to charge mine every other day too, or daily if I talk on it for a while in one day. Different phones last different times, so you'd have to look up reviews for each phone, rather than generalizing that all qwerty phones will have better battery life.

Virgin is now on Bell's and Telus' HSPA network, yet not a peep from Koodo. Anyone know if anything is in the works for Koodo to join the 21st century?

See if they can do a premium number swap then. This way you can keep both numbers. If that doesn't work you could port Line A to a pre-service of somesort, or even a voip service. Then call Koodo ...

For some reason I can't edit my previous post...
For what it's worth, UniCDMA v 0.98 worked on my Telus m540, but the v 1.095 mentioned in the Telus thread didn't work for me at all. I was trying on and off all night, before I thought to try the other version.
As I was scrolling around through the different modes with my up and down arrows, suddenly the SPC box that said ...

I find I have to charge my phone every 2 days ( LG Shine), it really annoys me and I'm wondering if my battery is defective?
I've set the keypad light to always off and the screen backlight to always off, yet it still dies so quickly.
Does texting drain my battery quick? I'm sorry for the noob questions
(By texting I mean 150+ texts a day easy.)

Can you please stop coming into my store (or any others) and asking for charges and batteries and everything else (because you know they work on your phone cause Koodo is owned by telus) and yet still complaining about Telus?
I'll sell you the stuff, but the next time I hear someone say, "Hi there, I hate telus but do you have a car charger for my Samsung M540?" I'm going to ...

As my phone recently broke and I can now only talk on it using a Bluetooth headset (speaker broke), I need a new phone. However, I'm hoping that Koodo will release the Keybo 2 soon. Do you think it'll happen? I talked to a rep today and she was optimistic that they'd be getting it really soon and encouraged me to wait for it. Do you think she knew something or that she just assumed ...

I bought the LG Shine about a year and a half ago and now the speaker is sucking. It randomly stops working so that I can't hear anything when I'm having a phone convo, but the person on the other end can hear me. It hasn't lasted long yet, but it only seems to be getting worse as it's happened 3-4 times in less than a week and I've made less than 10 calls in that time period....

We just got a new Slyde (after visiting about 5 different stores, even the Koodo kiosk which was no help) ... but we finally were able to buy this phone at full price, take it home, and swap it out online for the KRZR which broke.
Also, the online swap never really did work.. hours and hours later I had to mess around with the *22803 to get it working.. but I was successful, ...

Hey all, i'm going through my second Koodo samsung SPH-M540 in the last month or so. I love this phone but after returning my first one i'm having the same problems with my replacement phone.
the alarm clock on this phone is seriously messed up. Seems like a trivial problem but i'm afraid it's a sign of things to come!
What is happening is that old alarm times that have ...
