Several phones, one SIM card. I am pretty sure that no provider will activate, or can activate the same number to multiple SIM cards.

My old GSM phone was getting old (although it still works OK) so I got a new phone on a contract renewal deal. The new phone came with a new SIM card. Both phones work fine using my original old SIM card. I was thinking I would ask my wireless company (Fido) to activate the new SIM card on my same old phone number. That way I could have a SIM in each of my phones, and I would just turn on the phone that I wanted to use, and the same phone...

I have never heard of a company that does this, though that not to say that it is not possible. That said, even if there is such a company, there's no guarantee that it will work the way you want it to, and if it does I'm pretty sure you'll be charge a hefty fee for their service.

A few times over the past week, my husband has been unable to make phone calls. He dials the number, gets a bit of silence, and then gets a fast busy. On the receivers end, it makes my phone ring (land line) and I can see the number on caller ID, but just a dial tone when I answer. When trying to call him back (to find out why he kept calling and hanging up as I thought he was doing), I would either get a fast busy right off the bat, two...

best coverage cell phone service
Published (2008-11-26 19:31:00)
Hello all, I'd like to know Which cell phone service has the best coverage in Honolulu? I live in Honolulu and have had problems with my cell phone coverage for a while now. I finally decided to switch and was wondering which service has the best coverage. I've checked the coverage maps for each service, but I've found some of them to be a little inaccurate. Please help.

I recently became the owner of a Samsung Omnia that a buddy brought back with him from Singapore. I like the phone a lot but can't stand using it on the slow as molasses T-Mobile edge network. I'm eligible to upgrade my phone on my contract and decided to purchase a Samsung Behold. What I'd like to do is transplant the radio from the behold into the Omnia so that I can gain access to the the T-Mobile 3G network. Does anyone...

Easily customizable phones?
Published (2008-11-25 20:41:00)
Hey guys, got a question for you, don't know if its easy or not, but here it goes. I'm looking to get a new cell phone, and I want one that is easily customizable, not just with ring tones and such, but display as well, such as changing the images for your battery indicator and signal strength, etc. I was looking around online, and found programs like Theme Studio for Nokia Series 40 and Themes Creator for the Sony Ericcson. What...

Does anyone know where I can find a SIM card holder? I have three SIM cards at the moment that I swap between my phone when I travel and I'd like to keep them safe in my wallet somewhere without the possibility of losing them. Does anyone know where I can find such a holder? I kind of don't want to keep them in a plastic baggie anymore. :P

I used to have a Nokia candy bar phone that came with a FM radio. Sound quality wasn't that memorable. The only positive was that it had digital tuning that you were able to preset. Any suggestions for a cell phone with very good FM radio, both quality and reception? Thanks in advance.

I'm selling my phone and a possible buyer has asked me to give him the IMEI of the phone to check for the warranty. Could that bring up a problem? I mean, could he use the IMEI of the phone for other things?
