All the providers nickle and dime and so will the new providers. As much as you all hope things will change the one thing that will remain the same is they want profit and will do anything to make it. What you call nickle and diming they call $$$$$$

I can also give one more example. On various prepaid plans, it is often said that Call Forwarding, Voice Mail, and Caller ID are "included". Does that mean that there is no air time charge for Call Forwarding or Voice Mail (deposit or retrieval)? Call Forward is a separate function than regular calls, and thus one cannot assume the other. Give you one more example: Conference Call is included for most plans. but Conference...

If you want to zoom, you'll have to lower the resolution to something less than 3.2MP first. then you can digitally zoom. It's weird, but I dont even bother zooming since it's digital. I found the battery life terrible with 3G. So i deactivated it. Now it's a lot better.

CityFido zones remain the same. However, ALL customers have the new local calling areas. This includes CityFido customers.
As always, CityFido does NOT include long distance within your zone. It never has. For example, if you call from one side of the zone to the other, it's not free.
With the new local calling areas you'll just have to be aware of where the new ...

Contract are not per account they are per line so it is correct you will have to pay the $100 to cancel on 1 line and move to another and the same goes with any provider I am pretty such.
Also if that data plan is no longer available it cannot be added to the other line so you may end up paying the ECF and not be able to readd it if you don't word it correctly.

I had a similar issue, as I travel a lot and whenever I leave the country I call Fido and ask them to BLOCK Data on my account totally, and its never been an issue, I believe the CSR you spoke may be ill informed. Call again and demand it they definitely can do it, unless something has changed in the last month or so.

in your case zero cents per phone
There is really no way to tell how much it cost Fido per minute to provide service.
BTW. I have City Fido $40 - $5 credit and $10 1000min candian LD option becasue of local calling area changes with a $10 credit so in total I pay $35 and I don't get treated differently. I don't know what you mean.
