a) Since you can only install and activate one (1) copy of Windows 7 with one (1) license on one (1) PC, you'll need to purchase another Windows 7 license for a second installation. b) If you upgrade your Windows Vista installation to Windows 7, then that installation will become the default. However, you can easily change the default O/S using MSCONFIG (type MSCONFIG in the Search programs and files box to access the icon). Wasted...

Offhand I can't think of a utility that will do such. What may help is to try and use boot loggong as described in the link below. http://www.watchingthenet.com/how-to...n-windows.html When I encounter such problems I also try to boot into Safe Mode to see if that resolves the problem or not and if it does I know it is a starup component and then I need to troubleshoot via trial and error using msconfig to try and pin down what starup...

I am running PSP 5.2.
In the meantime, I've called Corel and with the tech guy online, we
downloaded the newest version, 30 day trial. Result? It is
RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT. I know PSP (my version) inside and out, and I
cannot even begin to figure out the new version.
So I don't know whether I should install Photoshop or if that will be
difficult as well. It is SO ...

Sadly what you propose is logical but may be disastrous.
If you have one hard drive and reformat it to install the upgrade the
upgrade may fail to activate because it does not see a valid, activated copy
of XP or Vista.

I've been searching the net for a few days on how to fix this problem,
so far useing programs like RegCure doesn't work at all, neither do most
of the others.. So I decided to make an account and ask for help. When I
try to install Atlas V14 (A program for translations) it comes up with
Error 1935 and does a roleback, so i decided to try installing it on my
laptop then copied files to PC ...

I have had a weeklong problem with a Computer Club member's computer.
Gateway, Windows Vista Home Premium.
I have done an upgrade install and things seem to be moving along quite
well. At the moment, it is downloading a bunch of updates. With the Resource
Monitor open Memory shows 10 to 100 Hard Faults per second. For comparison,
