Officially Babe Ruth (575 ft.). Unofficially Mickey Mantle (643 ft.). In reality it was Bagwell, but since it's still orbiting the planet they can't measure it since it will never land. :D How many home runs were hit in Tiger Stadium during it's lifetime?

Well stats will also show that parents(both)that drop out of high school, their kids usually are as bad ... Which me and my siblings have totally gone against odds, since I graduated, my little brother is a Jr in high school and my little sister is in the 6th. Ummm and also, for being almost 20 I don't have much patience for little kids. My mom has a friend that has a 6-7 yr old that runs his mouth... Some times I want to punt him.... Ok...

"Does anybody here go often?" If I could live there, I would. Like the above poster said there is a lot of places to get parking depending on how early you want to get there. I like to park at the lot on Avenue of the Americas between the GRB Convention Center and Home Plate Restaurant, parking there is only $7, but spaces are limited. As far as seating, honestly there isn't a bad seat anywhere. I would be remiss if I...

Yep, another game thread. Booooored. Saw this on the Padres board; basically the same as the question game, except it's baseball trivia. You answer the last question asked and then post one of your own. Remember to be smart with it; if it's something too hard, like which player hit three homers for some defunct team back in 1885 or something, it might be that no one will get it and the thread...

Hey, This year I am trying to hit as many ballparks as I can so I am trying to get some advice from fans who go to alot of games. Does anybody here go often? I am curious where are the best places to park, whats the best way to avoid traffic, and things like that. Hopefully that makes sense, up in Cincinnati I know where I can park for free and some back roads and little "secrets" like ...

My generation has been told since 5th grade to go to college, get our degrees and become Lawers/Doctors/Vets.... Etc because pretty much every job today requires a college degree, except McDonalds, Wal-Mart and so on. Now what I don't get is that people like me that want to go to college, get our degrees, are generally not allowed in.... I want to go in and study my butt off, and become a ...

I have been monitering my dreams for 30 years now. We can learn a great deal from them. Carl Jung wrote that the subconscious mind is interfacing with the conscious mind during the dream state. If we pay attention we can learn what our soul picks up that our flesh misses. ht tp://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20081125&con tent_id=3692094&vkey=hotstove2008&fext=.jsp According to this mlb.com article, it looks as if the Braves and Cubs are no longer looking to acquire Peavy. These 2 teams are the only teams that I believe could land Peavy, so with them out of the picture I think our chances have skyrocketed. I recently read another article which said Oswalt ...

The Angels are in on the Teixeira sweepstakes, but they have to have a backup plan if Teixeira goes somewhere else. We know the Angels are looking at CC Sabathia, and we also know that CC really wants to be in Southern California. So that could happen. Thinking it through, if Teixeira doesn't sign with the Angels, and the Angels sign CC, then the Angels would have plenty of pitching to ...

Roy Oswalt has been telling Peavy the two of them could make Houston contenders together. I can't see a sensible package coming from Houston without opening new holes, however. "...

As most of you probably know already, I don't have a ton of faith in Mr. Bourn. I'm not ready to give up on him yet, but I think that going into the season with no real starter outside of a guy coming off of a .229 year isn't a great idea. I mentioned this earlier in a different thread, there is a backup plan though. I present to you the starting lineup: Matsui-2B Tejada-SS Berkman-1B Lee-LF...
