Promescuity is the "go to" nasty for girls, it's like they know what will hurt the worst. Both my DD's had GF's that they were close with from 2 & 3 years of age, but then in HS it all changed & they were hurt badly by it. Oldest was hard because that GF was the DD of one of my still best firneds, no way no how could I get in that one...luckily she stayed out of it too. Originally Posted by...

The way I do it is: $60 grocery stores per week (sometimes at one store or split between the stores that have deals). I do not have a lot of time, so the less trips the better. $20 WAGS/CVS/Target (I usually do not spend all of this - as I roll ECBs and RRs, but this is what I budget). For me, I am somewhat flexible with my budget - if Kroger has a megasale I may go all out and then spend less the next week. If I do not spend the $20...

I'm so sorry your daughter is going through this. I remember in highschool having the same problem - some girls, who I thought were my friends - started telling people I did a few things I didn't do. I basically sucked it up and dealt with it - it is one of those things were unfortunately you can't do much about and neither can she. It has to run its course and these girls have to get bored with it. I think you getting involved...

I must be an idiot (oh, please, do not ask people who know me!), but, I can't figure out how to edit the title of my thread to reflect the new year. There is no edit button in my original post. There is one in the past 3 posts I've made, but, that doesn't change the name of my thread. Am I just too old to learn new tricks? Does anyone know why it is on the most recent posts, but, not in the original? You know, sometimes...

Have her also apply for TANF. Temporary assistance for needy families...I have no idea if his income will come to play with this...but that may be the best way for her to get cash...to pay the rent.

My overly simplistic knee jerk opinion is that I support billing people for sleeping off their drunk in a hospital. I don't think care should be denied for lack of payment, though. I know it's one of those dreaded slippery slope arguments. I mean, think of how many illnesses are directly related to behavior. I am able to relate to and share frustration about that aspect (accountability) of ...

I got two babies from it. The third one came free! Both times, it took one round to work. I will say, now that the kids are older, we've had and have heard of others who've had some challenges with the kids - mild LD type stuff. Not sure and can't prove that's the cause, but the 3rd kid has no issues. But then there are lots of people who have had no issues. My own worst side ...

I have twin 13 year old girls and a 2 year old daughter. We were eating in a Chinese restaurant and the baby says "Momma more." I say "Just a sec". A minute later she says it again "Momma more". I say, "Lily, please. Just a sec". Then she looks at me and says rather loudly "Momma, no more secs." (sounding just like SEX). The twins were rolling and would not stop laughing.

Oh honey, go with the gut! I'm gonna tell you to buy! We all have to splurge once in a while! I completely get the guilt thing, I never feel comfortable spending on myself, I have something coming up that is pure selfish spending, but something I've wanted for over 20 years...I saved every penny from my stockpile sales to pay for it...but I think I'll have an aneurysm taking that money out to...

You can tell your daughter that the friend spreading the lies is insecure and is afraid that your daughter will come between her and the other friend. You know the old saying, "Two's company, three's a crowd." Too bad the girl's too immature to realize that it is possible to have more than one friend at a time. Not sure if I would call the mom or email her. I guess it depends on what ...

Get a family lawyer with internation experience immediately!!! I do believe that minors are suppose to have both parents "permission" ie: both people there or a notorized letter giving permission for international flights (even with passports). However, I do not know the rules for driving over any international borders.

I suggest asking divorced friends how they liked their attorney. Go in for a consultation on the first visit. It should be free. If you do not feel comfortable with the attorney, look for another one.

Is it still getting electricity? If the dryer is working but not heating, then maybe u just need to change the fuse for it. That used to happen with our dryer, sometimes the timer would stop working and the dryer would just keep going, changing the specific fuse worked also. If so, check the box and replace the fuse. Problem solved

I'm sorry your family were involved in an accident. Why don't you wait a few weeks to make sure your daughter doesn't have any lingering impacts from the accident before agreeing to a settlement. You could certainly ask for a higher amount and maybe settle in the middle between their offer and the amount you decide is appropriate. Good luck and I hope your daughter is doing well.

Maybe you could barter your services with a printer. If they do not have a graphic designer on staff, maybe you could offer to do some of their DTP and color separating or something for awhile in exchange for a discount, or free print work??? ETA: That silver ink is gonna cost you (I worked in printing for a good number of years, so that's how I know) so if you maybe found silver envelopes and...
