I believe this goes along with my question, here . My (admittedly noobish) understanding is this: There are many, many people interested in selling the stock. The people chew through all of the buy orders at the current level. Suddenly, there are still a ton of people looking to sell, but no one to buy, so the price drops. Now we're at the next level of buyers. The market chews through them as well. Rinse. Repeat. There are many shares...

What price did you get in at? With the recent pop you might as well take some off the table no reason to risk it all with a pending civil suit you can always buy back in if the suit gets dropped.

I think Scottrade does a fine job of getting your order filled. I like Scottrade. For the first time right before Christmas I had them send me some money and had a check in three days.

It just depends on what the market is doing and demanding. You have to look at the bid/ask. Are you using L2? If so, greens and reds don't necessarily mean buys and sells, respectively.
