...you know, the one that kept Alabama out of the end zone for 60 minutes this season? ...Did they look horrible tonight b/c Va Tech has a more potent offense than Bama? Or did the Vols not care? Hmmm And.....do you think Tennessee's defense is better than Nebraska? (I think not).

I think Houston was like 111th in the nation or something similar stopping the run, so it wasn't a huge surprise that Air Force could score on them. It was the tipped balls and pressure causing Houston interceptions that killed them.

I'm not sure we'll ever know the whole story, but this doesn't seem like Mike Leach. If the kid's dad wasn't Craig James, it would have been dismissed by now in my opinion.

The local paper ran a story last week about Cougar High being CFB's version of "the greatest show on turf"...
To Sumlin's credit, he played that down immediately.
That team can beat anyone on any given day, and lose to anyone on any given day. Fun to watch but it would drive a fan base nuts.

A kick out of bounds, a horse collar penalty, pass interference that gave them a touchdown, bad pass interference call to keep drive alive on an uncatchable ball, official game clock runs out but replay gives them one extra second............Texas may beat Alabama and be declared National Champion and may not even be the best...
