Bull, too many 1's in the starting 2 digits! 69-70 starts with 1000001 to about 1044649. Looks like you got an extremely late '71. Chopper material fo'sho!

yeah i guess but with a sn# 1107764 you would think it was a 70.i think but heck i just build then and ride it just as long as it is a sohc lol thanks anyway for the info.

I was using a master off of a 90s crotch rocket. Worked real good for me and had the brake light switch built in. But if you go to 1" like CC3 said then I am using one from a 2000 v-star.

I usually cut just a touch bigger than I need, then sand it to where I want it. A little bit of glazing putty will take care of anything left, but never had to use more than a little dab here or there.

Thanks Wrench, well at least I've got an extra cam should I ever need one haha. Would it work in a 76k do ya know?
