I had Saddlemen Bags on my 1992 1100 Sahdow. They lasted quite nicely over 10+ years, and are still on the bike. The only issues I had were the straps for the buckles and the conchos. The straps for the buckles wore out, so I got some leather and replaced them, no problem. I should note that these are REAL buckles, not the fake ones with the plastic clips hidden behind them. A couple conchos came off. I sent Saddlemen an email asking how much...

I've never come across one for our bikes but you could adapt one from a HD to fit the bike.

That is true and it would be much lighter than metal... but I have some sort of aversion to plastic parts lol

I have had Saddleman bags for about a year. No problems as far as quality. I mounted mine using a custom made bracket.

Jconard2 let me know if you have any trouble mounting the bags. I have a 1800S with stock pipes and I wonder if they are going to fit on that side without getting on the pipes.

I really like mine, although they came with the bike which I purchaced from it's 2'nd owner...They're fine if you like leather type bags. You will want the support brackets & then, watch how you "Punch" very small holes from inside to fit zip ties to the bracket frame.....that is unless you like your unloaded bags flapping in the breeze..... Enjoy & Ride Safe......

There should be a sticker with it on the frame. I think it's under one of the side covers.

I have it and I like it . . . looks real good on the bike. It does get in the way a little but not enough to worry about IMHO. Have removed my tank numerous times with just a little bit of extra care.
