I'm such a freakin bone head. This is what happens when you work on cars when you should be sleeping! I unplugged and moved the injector resistor when i did the master cylinder tonight... I put it back where it mounted to the car but i forgot to plug it back in... I'm such a bone head. But now that car starts. I'm going to sleep. Thanks for replying though. I appreciate it!!

The hardest part about changing the water pump and timing belt getting the car back in time. You need someone who knows what they are doing to forthat. She doesn't need to be driving it like that. If you do all the labor it is not expencive to do but like I said you need someone to put it in time unless you are able to.

Yes, IT DOES Help.... EVERYTHING MEntioned in the Other Thread is ALL the symptoms, and fixes, that WILL FIX the idle issue. You tried everything on it? ReallY? I doubt it... Did You REPLACE ALL of your Vacuum hoses. You can test for leaks, BUT, that does NOT mean you are going to visibly find any. Vacuum issues are tricky. I know, I did it. Miniscule crack, loose or worn areas ...

I'm thinking either low colant level, partial blockage in your heater core, or early sign of water pump failure. Check the coolant level and if it looks good pull your heater core hoses and use a water hose to back-flush the core and see if any debris or trash come out. I can't remember off the top of my head if the 4th gens have a heater bypass valve on the heater hose but if it does it too ...

Well first off, let me say Welcome to the Site. I am also from GA, and if you are able to come to the meet at The Varsity on Jan, I am sure there will be some one there that knows of a good shop. But $1000 is actually a fair deal, I have seen it go for much more.

personally i'd just replace the entire axle instead of the CV boot. easier to do IMO. it'll be obvious if the boot needs to be replaced. it'll be ripped or torn and grease will FLYYYYYYYY radially outward, making a mess of everything. the drivers side is almost identical, you just disconnect it from the intermediate shaft, which is as simply as prying it out w/ a screwdriver/prybar ...

Sounds like one of your WSS or Wheel Speed Sensors is bad. they are sensors by the wheel hub near the axel and it gives the abs ECU a signal of how fast that wheel is spinning. If your light goes out when first started it is because the monitors of that system are working fine at that time. Once you start rolling the ECU sences a problem and throws the light on. You have to figure out wich sensor...
