also look into late model 900rr exhausts. It eliminates the exhaust stink and gives you a single low mount exahust. I love mine.

that would lead to a thermostat from what you are describing, but since you pulled thermo already... hmm did you try replacing it with a new one?

Its just personal preference but personally I have only seen one after market exhaust that looked decent on a 919. That was the micron. But if you are cheapskate like me you may want to consider a bafflectomy. The PO on my old 03 had one done and it sounded great. You may want to look into it Honda 919 Bafflectomy

What bike have you got? The 954RR for example has the fan switch in-built within the ECU whilst the 929RR I believe has a normal one on the side of the rad (correct me if I'm wrong) Hows the level of the water doing? What temperatures is the water going to? Have you tried flushing the whole system yet? Has your oil gone creamy? Also, you say you have pulled your thermostat - does that mean you have removed it or have replaced it? (just a...

The fact that you had 100% antifreeze, means the last owner new he had a overheating prob, 100% antifreeze helps to keep temp down. If the water is circulating correctly, the pump is good, and no head leak, the stat is out, get a temp gauge they come on some multimeters, and get bike too temp, then check all pipes pumps excetra, see if there is a buil up any were, that will tell you if there is a blockage. If all ok then i would look at temp...

Been a few threads on this. I have Dunlop qualifiers on the front and Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's on the back. The power 2ct are not durable( about 3500 miles) but very sticky and heat up quickly. I like playing in canyons and on the track so I want the sticky stuff. For durability and grip you cant go wrong with Pilot Road 2ct's. I've heard of people getting 15000 miles + on them

the 919 doesnt have a sub frame like sport bikes the frame under the passenger runs all the way down the bike and acts like a back bone IIRC. You would have to cut the frame and fab a way to mount the sub frame. would be a cool project! http://image.sportrider.com/f/859700...FRAME-zoom. jpg

I have a Givi windscreen. I can say that after i saw it on my bike i like the factory screen a little more. But I could only see the Givi windscreen to be used when it was really cold or if I was on a long trip. But the bike just looks better without it, in my opinion. It sucks that they cost so much. Hope it works for you though
