There's no solution I know of other than replacing the ECU and Ebay would be the place to get it. First you would want to confirm that the connectors are compatible. A wiring diagram would show if any of the wiring is different but as long as the connectors fit the ECU you can alter the wiring to suit.

I'd only go for the clear ones (If I were to get them)... Make sure all of the bubbles are pushed out when adding them to your tank or they could come away from it. Haven't heard any bad comments from them (apart from people leaving bubbles in them)

you are assuming that the leak is from the cover. bad news is that this would be the best case scenario. you need to make sure that you don't have a cracked case. That would require some welding in order to fix your leak. If it is the cover, then: 1) drain the oil 2) pull you cover..be careful not to nick the two posts... 3) Remove the oem gasket using a razor blade and some solvent .... and replace with your gasket of choice 5) Add some...

going back to the clutch cover, i left it overnight after i cleaned it up and there's no spill whatsoever and i didn't see any oil when i swiped my finger around area where cover meets the case. should i take it for a short ride so the oil warms up and pressure is created to see if it comes out then?

I have not ridden the Ducat 848, but i have ridden other model Ducati's.
I know from experience that Ducati's are quite focused bikes, that are designed for a narrowly styled form of riding ( Sportsbike, twistys, track days )
( below was a long winded reply about a test ride i did on the 2008 blade ), i decided the next sentence is all you need..........

sounds like the fan switch/or the fan it self has failed, also check the
fuse, the switch is the part that screws into the radiator, make sure its
all connected up ok. To check the fan, disconnect the wire from the switch
to the left of the rad, turn on the ignition, and earth the switch wire, as
the wire is earthed the fan should come on, then you know the fan is ok,
and you just need a new fan ...

I doubt you'll be able to replace the spring alone, you likely need a new shock.
Also, for street use they say the stock rear spring is correct for a 192lb rider. The one they show otherwise is for racing use.

1000RR discs are 10mm and 20mm smaller diameter though so it's best to use your 929/954 discs.

I personally don't think it matters.
I use the bobbins that have high grade bolts and axle sliders built in, but either would be good. My bikes sit on front(head style) and rear stands all the time that they're not being ridden.
I'm considering changing out my stock chain adjusters for Gilles Tooling adjusters with built in sliders and MotoGP style paddock stand hooks, but that would...

I've done it on my 929 and it wasn't very fun... The LED's are very small and hard to get to. U have to disassemble the whole thing. Take your needle off and your rpm disc. Some of the LED's are hard to get to, u will see why once u take everything apart. I didn't take off my digital readout cluster because it didn't appear to come off unless you had some extensive training in computer parts...
