Honda announced quite a while ago that they were not going to the NEC, recession-driven cost saving I believe. As for the dealerships, I've ot heard this before, but then again I don't use a dealer so I doubt it'll affect me too much. One of the advantages of old bikes!

Re: Getting your bike to survive winter.... Ok .... I'll get serious for a moment. I had to go dig it up but I wrote all of this out in 3 parts on another board I am a member of a long while ago. It covers most everything but obviously is open to change based on actual conditions ..... Part I We'll start with "you" the rider. Most fall/winter accidents happen because "you" the rider are not...

Tell me you didnt fit a patten oil filter......if you did it could be a bad
one, there is the off chance the oil pressure gauge is faulty, but with the
increase in temp there must be a prob, get the bike level, dead straight
and check again, if all ok change filter as there may be a blockage, if its
not that then you might have a prob with the oil pump, but as it only
started when you changed the...

I don't know why it's so special to you but it depends on your bike and gearing. Every now and again I will upshift or downshift without the clutch because I'm leaning on my left arm comfortably on the highway.
To find your shift point you can start out in any gear (except 6th) and accelerate while applying pressure up until it finds the gear. Same on downshifting. After a while you can ...

ok so here how it goes. most of the salvage title frames come from insurance auctions, and some states allow a dealer with rebuild licence to buy them and fix them after getting them fixed they have to get them safety inspected alongwith the final state inspection to obtain a rebuild title so it can go back on the road. if you know a dealer and they are willing to help you get it inspected for a ...

It sounds like the clutch pack you put in is not the correct added
thickness that is needed. Disassemble and check a manual for the correct
number of friction and steel plates or compare to what you removed. Also
the order. Be sure everything else is insalled correctly. One missing plate
will make you lose your drive to the transmission.
