Extra vacuum port The vacuum port is on both the RAA and RBB manifolds, in the same place on the back. If your cap is in good condition, you can just swap it over, as I did. __________________ ------------------------------------------------ -Justin Karl Mechanical Engineering PhD Student, University of Central Florida '03 4WD EX

I think I would have noticed the effect of the new manifold if I hadn't already been driving around with my intake and exhaust for the last year or two. I do think it seemed a bit more willing to rev when I drove it last night, but I've been out of town for most of the last couple months driving a rental Kia, so I'm attuned to a different (super crappy) vehicle. We are taking the Element on a Thanksgiving road trip starting this...

I had issues on the dyno with random misfires past 5500rpm. Still broke the 300hp mark- Made 309 at 14psi with 26xtq. We maxed out the log manifold, and had lots of trouble with the fic for tuning due to me having so many mods, esp the lower compression and not being able to change my gear correction factors. I am working on K-Pro dual ECU for it with secret services here in houston. They have someone with a new SI with the dual ecu K-PRO...

LOL... It is about time... I wanted to make sure everything is right on this time around.
Update for today-
B/C the RSX tranny has no transfer case on it, my buddy made a new drivers side motor mount(in front of the shock tower) and rear mount(bolts to the subframe). I am going over there tonight so see all that is going on, and take the new larger intercooler and modified rbc manifold.. ...

As a VW/Audi guy, I'm curious whether anyone has tried a MANN W67 filter on their Element as a replacement for the stock part. The specs seem to interchange with the factory part as well as the WIX 51356 and Purolator L14610, which are apparently good choices as aftermarket substitutes for the OEM.

The install guide for the a/c will show what was changed when it was installed. Before you start taking anything apart make sure you have the system evacuated properly.

First of all 'WELCOME' to the EOC . Secondly, complete filling out your profile, it helps up help you, when we have all the information. Now to your question, you can get the Ingen Cat Back Exhaust System for a little over $500, and it's a bolt on installation. That shop is just trying to rip you off, I wouldn't let them do any work on my ride.

1. no, simple bolt-on.
2. the IM on the Element actually consists of 2 parts: the "IM" and the "Injector Base". To do the TSX "IM" swap, is simply a bolt-on. If you want to install the 'Hondata gasket', which goes BETWEEN the "Injector Base" and the engine head, you have to remove the "Injector Base" - this involves draining the radiator coolant, and basically a lot more work. It's really not ...

Here's a couple more
I learned how to Tig A LOT better this weekend. I made some tricky welds and it helped me learn a lot. I may put an angle on the tip but I'm not sure yet. I kind of like the look for now. I'll try to get some sound clips up too, I tried with my Iphone but it was making the mic distort.

You can't upgrade injectors without upgrading to a programmable engine management. I'm not sure that the TSX injectors would flow much more than the Element injectors anyway, and if they do, then not by much. But without a way to tune your engine, it would actually probably run worse (with a richer mixture).

fill in your profile so we know what model you have. That can dictate what tuning you can use.
