Steel Wheel Fitment Question...

If you choose to purchase and install (and bring to the dealer for setup) TPMS sensors they will work fine with most any wheel. A few extra ounces of weight may be required for tire/wheel balancing...no big deal. You may want to skip the TPMS sensors in winter wheel situations to keep things simple. If you're gonna mount tires to some steelies and run 'em year 'round it is prolly worthwhile.

If you can live with the light on the dash for 5 months of the year, do it.

Hopefully Ksport has improved their quality and customer support. I had a set of their coilovers on my 98 Prelude that blew out in 2500 miles, their "customer support" told me their kit was designed for "offroad use only"..what a joke, never again

I'm more than happy with my General Grabber AT2s after two winters they are ready for more. The Grabbers have handled everything like a champ, black ice, 18+ inches of snow, torrential rain and slush, mud and sand. The best part is they cost about fifty bucks less than BFG AT KOs, last a lot longer and perform better. Not to mention BFG's complete lack of quality control or customer service when three of four tires de-laminate with...

$55 per wheel on tirerack.com = $220 and $40 S/H. No tax, arrives by the 17th if on time. Dealer wanted $75 per wheel and had to order them, a week or two for delivery. A no-brainer, really.

You are supposed to put chains on the front wheels. If you were to put them on the back, then the front wheels would slip a lot and constantly engage the AWD system.
You also should be careful about what chains you buy. I believe you are supposed to use class "S", but I'm not at all sure about that part. Basically, you should get the lower-profile cable type chains because of clearance ...

Tirerack lists 4 models in the 215/70/16 size: Bridgestone, Firestone (same company), Michelin, Perelli. Cooper has well regarded snowtires (also under their Mastercraft brand) in this size as well. The Bridgestone TA KO model in this size (AT category) also meets the
'severe snow service requirements (and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol),'

They don't really drop the E that much. I would like to purchase some 20's and slam it. I've read some threads ...

On a 8" wheel, you can run +35 to +45 range, I had +42 and it was perfect. On a 8.5, the same range is good, I currently run a +40 and it is just where I wanted it, they dont stick out. Run a 245/45 tire on either width.
For the suspension, get the eibach or spc rear camber arms and the ingalls or eibach from cam bolts, there is no aftermarket top hats that adjust the camber. Watch your struts...

Try a junk yard too. Maybe even a Mom & Pop tire place.
The bolt pattern is the same all years. 5x114
Lots of Accords (5lug...not 4 lug!)used this pattern, and so do CR-Vs. The 15" CR-V wheels will fit, just adjust tire size to something like 225/75-15 to compensate.
Read thru a few more threads and try a few different search terms, there is lotsa info.

Hey, I know this might be a bit late, but I just had firestone install the 235 Bridgestone Revo 2's on my ABM 06 LX 2WD's stock rims and they are the best! Fill the wheel wells nicely and not too much road noise. Of course there is a bit more noise than a touring tire, but it is certainly tolerable. They handle water like it isn't even there and are a bit grippy for the loose stuff, plus they are...

I'm waiting for some pictures of 09/10's with beefier tires and custom wheels. It's hard to judge how a tire/wheel combo will look if you have an 09/10 and you're looking at 03-08 models because our wheel wells are a different shape.
