I have been looking for a way to mount a
Netbook in between the seats so my kids can use on very long drives. I didn't want anything permanently mounted as normally my kids sit in the back reading. I will admit though on a very long 8 hour drive its nice to plop in a little 1 hour movie to keep them occupied for some of the time so I don't have to hear "are we there yet" 400 times for ...

They are 3/4" thick. I constantly load
heavy stuff in & out of my car, & they hold up very well. Both side are the same, so I flip them over constantly.
Just make sure you use a template to ensure they fit tight in the car, to prevent any sliding.

1) The door lock only unlocks the door you put the key in. You need key less entry to unlock all doors at once.
