Two questions on my 2003 Element
Published (2009-12-30 21:10:00)
Hey there, 1) I have a 2003 Element ( the model with the sub woofer) and I need to unlock the doors with a key, the old fashioned way which is fine but I wonder if there is some trick, like on Toyota where two clicks opens the other door OR would the remote access kit be a better option? 2) My windshield washer fluid seems to spray intermediatly. I'll try to squirt it and no go. Then I use the rear window washer and go back to the front...

I have all of the below as it is part of my job. I like them all for different reasons. You are right that the Acer gives you the most for your $. My only gripe about it has been the touchpad and touchpad/mouse buttons. The one that surprised me the most was the Toshiba. Large keyboard and nice and light. If I had to pick one out of this list though it would probably be the Lenovo. Toshiba NB205 Acer Aspire One 8.9" and 10"...

Two questions on my 2003 Element

Welcome aboard Gary. 1) The door lock only unlocks the door you put the key in. You need key less entry to unlock all doors at once. 2) Your washer fluid is most likely freezing. Try to over use it while it's warm enough to flow and replace it with winter fluid. If the fluid has been in the car for a while the alcohol evaporates and basically leaves you with blue water. You can also dump a bottle of rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol in the...

Keyless is definately the way to go. H&A sells the kit for $113.00 and it only take about 15 minutes to install...if that. http://www.handa-accessories.com/elementelect.html

You may also want to take a look at what I use for my E: http://www.elementownersclub.com/for...ad.php?t=54 074 They are 3/4" thick. My Netbook/DVD Mount - 9 new posts
Started 1 week, 1 day ago (2009-12-30 02:50:00)  by CEC
I have been looking for a way to mount a Netbook in between the seats so my kids can use on very long drives. I didn't want anything permanently mounted as normally my kids sit in the back reading. I will admit though on a very long 8 hour drive its nice to plop in a little 1 hour movie to keep them occupied for some of the time so I don't have to hear "are we there yet" 400 times for ...
