I bought a 95 escort LX in 1995. Worst car ever. Only drove this thing to work and the ocassional trip. Averaged about 12,000 to 13,000 a year. After delivery - found a few nuts missing on the door hinre after getting it from the factory First fours years: Rear coil springs broke-twice! (This is a common happening in Escorts and Winstars). We never hauled anything ever! Head gasket went - Thank god I bought the extended warranty At 72,000...

Omg, seriously mine visors extend? Ok, I am retarded. Have had the car for over a year and have cursed at the fact the visors don't extend everytime the sun hits my eyes. I am tempted to walk out to my car right now and test this. HA! I'll feel so stupid if they do in fact extend. Duh!!

I don't think it is as much as Honda "cheaping" out as much as it was having to eliminate the sliding extentions due to the addition of the side curtain air bag. It is possible the hard plastic of the extention could affect the side air bag frpm deploying properly.

Crosstour pricing I was just out on Honda's website and was amazed at the pricing of the new Crosstour. A starting price of 29,600 seems a little exhorbitant for a fwd vehicle. I realize that it has a v-6 engine, but the normal accord ex with a v-6 is 3,000 less. I realize I'm probably grossly oversimplifying the car, but a 3,000...

I have an 03 as well. I first started having a key problem in 05 or so. I bought the remote entry kit with fobs from H and A for about $100. Less than 5 minutes to install, and I have never used a key in a door since. I have had no problems with the ignition. I am only trying to point out that while there may well be a problem with the locks, there is a workaround to reduce the irritation.
