Amp won't power off.
Published (2009-12-18 22:50:00)
if you are just asking how to turn the amp off to reset it, simply disconnect the main power wire (or remove the fuse on the wire near the battery). but you need to make sure the remote wire is connected properly (remote wire is NOT the power or the ground wire).

Amp won't power off.
Published (2009-12-18 19:50:00)
No, the power was not knocked loose. The ground was knocked off its grounding location. All other wires were connected solid where they were supposed to be. It's only after reconnecting the ground to its grounding location that I now have a problem. I need to know how to get the amp turned off so I can start over. It won't turn off.

The C2s largest RMS rating is 70 watts with a peak of about 115 watts. This is why you didn't notice any difference with or without an amp. Your factory Pioneers are 45 watt RMS. Listen to some Alpine type r's with a nice 4 channel amp behind them and tell me component speakers aren't worth the money.

The whole [sound] system was working perfectly til the other day when a lot of bags and luggage were loaded into my trunk. After which, everything seemed to be working except I had no sound. I noticed the protection light on the amp was lit. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power on/off wire. Nothing. I drove around for a while with no sound and the HU turned off until I decided ...

are the fuses okay? sounds like some sort of reverse feedback problem that is affecting the brake/cruise switch. may try putting a blocking diode on the power wire of the switch.

Hello everyone,
I have a Honda Civic 1.4 16v out in 2001 (with 5 doors) and
I would like to install parking sensors (rear), if someone can tell me where to get instructions for installation and drilling. It would be good to have a scheme for drilling.

i remember reading something about a voltage regulator or something along those line that renders a higher output alternator useless without modifying our electrical system can someone elaborate.

Your low and high beam use different bulbs. Yes you have to replace a bulb, just make sure its the low beam bulb.

i have a sedan and i still hooked the blue antenna wires together, altho i have a sneeking feeling if i trace the blue harness wire back to the oem plug, there will not be a wire there. so it wont hurt to hook it up anyway, it just wont go anywhere. be sure to still hook up the big antenna lead plug tho.

I have a system in my car and i feel that i put alot of stress on my alternator since, before i did the big 3, just putting the heat or a/c would dim my lights, lol, but since the big 3 thats not as much of an issue, i was wondering what you guys think of aftermarket alternators with higher outputs, and what they cost usually, and how hard are they to install. To remove this ...
