I purchased the car new and at 38k miles the "Check Fuel Cap" type of indicator started flashing for the first time and I tried everything that the dealer tells the average joe to do to fix the problem such as remove and reapply the gas cap, always ...

either its a coincidence and your motor is fxcked or its a wiring problem. oil light has nothing to do with the oil level. the oil light notifies you if your oil pressure is under i think 7.5lbs of oil pressure. they call it the dummy light because if its on and the sensor is functioning the way its supposed to be it basically means replace your motor. because any motor under 7.5lbs oil pressure...

I know waxes and stuff remove swirl marks but is there anything better? Rubbing compound and such? I get random scratches from the dicks at work because I park my car in the garage so it doesn't get broken into...
