well hid or not, you still need to convert the harness. problem is, old headlight uses H4 dual
filament bulb, and only one filament can be on at a time. new headlight uses separate lo and hi beam bulbs and can both be on at the same time. so you at least need to make a new relay harness for one set of lights (like lo beam) and use the existing harness with new connectors for hi beams. alot of ...

I would check the drain plug first. Are you sure its atf fluid?
Also check the
dipstick, they tend to shrink and pop out over time.

I used the spray adhesive for my door panels. I had used
contact adhesive for my headliner, and that stuff held for maybe a month or two. Crap in my opinion, although I wasnt using that brand, but I was using DAP or DAT or whatever it was.
