Transmission Fluid Leak
Published (2009-11-23 23:47:00)
i have alot of issues with trans fluid too. one day i found a small explosion all over the trans case and underneath. i think fluid came up thru the dipstick hole. i also have a slow leaking rear main seal so fluid comes out there too. it could also leak from the axle seals or the case itself. is it only at the bottom? or coming from the top too.

Headlight Conversion help
Published (2009-11-23 16:47:00)
I have an 01 civic that I'm doing the front end conversion to the 04-05. I've hit a rut.. Whats the best way for me to get the headlights to work? The 01-03 have a three prong plug for the bulb, where the 04-05's have a two prong plug... I'm thinking about doin the HID's as well, I had a buddy tell me that they might be universal, but I'm not too sure about that. Are they? Any help would be great! Thanks, Jessica...

clutch opinions
Published (2009-11-23 16:48:00)
Hello everyone, Hey guys just looking for what you all think, as far as clutch brands for replacement? I am looking for some opinions on what brands everyone has used and if they liked them or not. Would like to find out on the stage 1 or stage 2 clutch kits which brands in gage smooth without chatter. As far as stock goes I feel Exedy is the best choice. Do you guys agree? I hope this is the right area, its my first post here. To remove this...

Hi, I have a 2004 Civic DX Sedan and I saw some ATF fluid underneath the engine today. Where should I check first to see where it might be leaking? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Door Lock/Actuator Part Number...
Published (2009-11-23 16:47:00)
Sorry to jumo start an old thread, but the part number for the actuator is different for my car (03 Si). It was suggested that the OP needed part 32 as opposed to 56 based on this link http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...ry5=DOOR+LOCKS Based on that would I then need part 4 for my car (versus 25)? http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...ry5=DOOR+LOCKS

Transmission Fluid Leak

I would check the drain plug first. Are you sure its atf fluid? Also check the dipstick, they tend to shrink and pop out over time.

well hid or not, you still need to convert the harness. problem is, old headlight uses H4 dual filament bulb, and only one filament can be on at a time. new headlight uses separate lo and hi beam bulbs and can both be on at the same time. so you at least need to make a new relay harness for one set of lights (like lo beam) and use the existing harness with new connectors for hi beams. alot of ...

I used the spray adhesive for my door panels. I had used contact adhesive for my headliner, and that stuff held for maybe a month or two. Crap in my opinion, although I wasnt using that brand, but I was using DAP or DAT or whatever it was. The larger images are all broken links on that DIY. From the looks of the tumbnails though, he is using a thicker fabric. With microsuede it is much much ...
