Yes, mine is also flowering, and it seems to flower twice a year ...in spring and autumn. I'm trying to get it established around the base of each of the the orchard trees. I use it for planting potatoes (sowing each one on top of a comfrey leaf), and also for adding to the compost bin. The goats love it, as do the chooks. Our little sick lamb Gypsy has been eating and enjoying a leaf too. ...

Gidday Well I am way down under and I find this extremely interesting. As our seasons are the opposite to yours, you seem to be planting very early. Or have I gotten my conversion wrong?

I have ground cherries and checked on them yesterday. I discovered a pile of empty husks under the plants. That pesky chipmonk has been at it again! My turtles really love ground cherries and I was hoping for a good harvest for their winter feasting.
