I used to work at a carwash in college and saw this all the time because of how much pressure the water is coming out of that nozzle can easily seperate a gasket check and make sure maybe your gasket might have a small crack but since working there i prefer to hand washing after seeing what a pressure washer is capable of

Sounds like you are taking real good care of that PT... I wouldn't worry about it... just enjoy the ride! Someones gonna get a great little car when you either trade it in, or sell it....That's the kind of car a lot of people look for... PTpreacher

Never heard of painting the seats. Not saying it can't be done....but, never heard of it on 3 different forums. Here's a link to cleaning the fabric seats. Cleaning Interior Upholstery for '06 Cruiser - PT Cruiser Forum Good luck. (BTW...I'll bet you have a local auto upholstery shop that would redo the seats for under $100 each.)

A second opinion will cost you another day in another shop, but that other shop will give you the validation you're looking for. Figure $50 for an alignment at another shop. Just be sure to tell them why you're there (maybe leave off the name of your own mechanic). This way they'll be on the lookout and can record anything out of whack that they find.
