Hi, Did you buy a DVD or a digital download? If you bought a digital download, try downloading again. If you bought a DVD, try transferring the contents of the DVD to your hard drive (copy + paste) and run setup.exe from there. If that doesn't work, it might be worth making a trip back to the shop and telling them that it's faulty Hopefully they'll exchange it for you.

What happens if you set the windows speaker config to 4.1 or 2.1 desktop speakers and then play with headphones on? (I find better sound quality from my Audigy 2 if I use 2.1 and plug headphones in.
