I'm confused over my ranking in MSN/Live over Yahoo and Google. for my two main and very competitive keywords , i'm no.1 & no.2 repectively. OK on G! i've gone from page 11 to page 6 in the last week, but I don't see how I've beaten ALL competition on MSN, it's just a bit odd to be able to get such good results by doing nothing on MSN, you'd think those who are top on G! & Y! would also ...

I have great rankings in Google with all my keywords, but I am not getting anywhere on Yahoo. I did submit my sitemap, signed up and provided all the information for Yahoo web tools. Does anyone know of a good artcile to read to understand yahoo a little better.

One thing I nor the other distinguished posters didn't mention is changing your content. If your site content is changing then that will cause your SERPs to bounce around. Also close competitors for your KWs can affect your SERPs. This post has been edited by maleman : Yesterday, 06:38 AM

A client of mine pointed out to me a couple of rather trashy sites that came up with sitelinks on a search for their domain name. I had been under the impression that a site had to be somehow recognized as a real authority to get sitelinks, but believe me, you'd have a hard time arguing that these particular sites were authorities on anything.
