For a Complete list of External Drives , Logon to your D* account and click Tips and tricks, they have a 4 drives listed - and also state that you can do this but D* does not support it-So if you get a drive and it doesn't work don't call D* and Cry is about all that disclaimer means. Get a cheap Harmony or other universal remote. I had the same problem and got a Harmony for like $50. Worked like a charm.

go for best deal speak to Customer Retendcion. Say you can get better eqiupment from Dish and Att cheaper .. Also if you go thru ATT/ Direct tv .... Xtra phone and DTV monthy discount are available
