Nice Review Brat!
I didn't realize this just came out on blu-ray. I remember it as a good dark Louisiana Voodoo movie with lots of great actors. I haven't seen this in a long time. I might pick it up. Thanks for reminding me about it. Is it as good as you remembered it?
Nice screen shots too. They capture the essence of the movie and thanks for the
gratuitous pic of yourself at the end...

This movie always makes me smile. It plays constantly in the background on Christmas Eve/ Day. Ty for the review Goofnut.

Thanks for the review. I'll probably pick this up when it goes on sale, otherwise Netflix.

I felt this was a much better movie than the The
Da Vinci Code. It was more interesting with more action and intrigue.
The AQ was fantastic. Especially when they visit an abandoned church earlier in the movie.
Definitely worth a rental.

Nice review Goofnut. I picked this up on DVD a while back and just got round to watching it recently. I thought it was good but i don't think it would warrant repeat viewings. The only thing i thought was strange was the
sex scenes, i thought they didn't need to be there myself. I agree that its definatly worth a rental though.

I have not seen the original for decades, but I was a little disappointed in this remake after having
high hopes for it. I saw it in the theater and it just left me thinking something was missing. I liked it more than the other people who normally like these types of movies, but they could have done better so I agree with your assessment.
Thanks as usual for a great review!

Star Trek 2009
I have been looking forward to getting this particular movie on Blu-Ray since I saw it
at the Cinema back in the summer. The Star Trek franchise had become so tired that even long time fans like me were tired of it. It needed a re-boot and J.J...

Thanks Goofnut
I feel the exact way about Michael Bays work on the other movies you mentioned. Of the movies that guy directed, I think The Rock and also Bad Boys were good Hollywood entertainment. After those 2 movies, I get a strong feeling of arrogance or something from Bay that I don't like.
I never had The
Rock on dvd but I was always on the look out for a good deal on the ...
