Commando dropped a $1.50 to $8.99. Another Fox title at that price point... I expect more. Amadeus [Digibook] is $13.99. Haven't seen that one so cheap before.

It pisses me off that I cannot find holiday movies that I want (namely Home Alone, Christmas Vacation) for under $18 each. I am hoping Amazon, or somebody, offers these titles for $12 or less this year. Neither movie is a great transfer and Christmas Vacation is just a notch above the DVD version. Should be $9.99 by now.

I do agree that Wal Mart is keeping neck and neck with Amazon on new releases. I'm hoping Amazon price matches as well.

For BF deals, usually must be purchased in-store. This is true for the B&M stores, given that these are loss leaders meant to increase foot traffic (and business) at these prices. OTOH, here's hoping that AMZ will PM many of them as they did last year (banner year, for sure ). That will definitely alleviate the early morning dashes and craze-induced mobs.

Sure you could take 3 $10 AMZ titles and say see,...

Not quite a dollar cheaper than Fry's advertised price for that title actually ($19.95; not the one currently on the site, which doesn't reflect the advertised sale price).

Thanks for the break-down by price! Nothing I really needed this time.
I am shocked, as J&R usually always hooks me on one of these sales.

Got the email this morning. You also can do just Up and Monsters, Inc. for $28, beating Amazon's previous great deal. I guess I should have waited two days after release, haha! Oh well.

withholding comment on this one until the review posts, other than saying that coupon should be a 30 buck off coupon considering what it is for.

A one disc set for $34.99?? $5 off MSRP? Pass..
Might as well spend a little more and get the UCE.
Hopefully Walmart will carry the one disc as well for $19.99 like they did Oz.

Walmart shows $15.86 on their website.
I was planning on getting Star Trek from Walmart so I will probably pick this up too.

Eh. It's only $1 more from Amazon with guaranteed release day delivery. I'll stick with my Amazon pre-order. Thanks for the tip though.

Nice concept, poor execution. Fairly lame titles, and many are $9.95. No sets, or expensive BD included at all. . .

The Action Hero Collection seems to be the only decent pack.
