It's still a long way to go to the day I will find it to be small part of my life. Especially when I live in a very conservative family. It hurts me further to think that I have failed my loved one. I am raised single-handedly and I am really angry at myself for only bringing shame and misery to my mother. I am happy to read the posts in this forum. My heart is warmed by reading every post. Hi, you are putting too much importance to this minor virus. Some say 80% of the adult population has hsv1. You are fortunate that you have hsv1, it is less potent than hsv2. Eating healthy and taking supplements you can control this. You do not state where you live, but hopefully you are close to a large city. Most metro areas have support groups. good post - i have had bouts of extreme fatigue and lethargy since getting hsv 2 years ago. i eat right, work out regularly and blood tests have all come back with no alarms. i've never been able to pin it on hsv exactly but i've always felt that hsv may have something to do with it.

good post - i have had bouts of extreme fatigue and lethargy since getting hsv 2 years ago. i eat right, work out regularly and blood tests have all come back with no alarms. i've never been able to pin it on hsv exactly but i've always felt that hsv may have something to do with it.

from the day when the doctors told me i have hsv2 i wanted to kill myself but never have da heart to do it i try stoppin ma breath for mad long getting hit by cars only becuase dey tell me there is no cure for it and its there for the rest of my life but to make myself feel gud i thank god that they didnt tell me i was hiv postive because thats when i noe for sure i would have just ended my life...

With my first OB of GHSV2 I had the ten day of supply of Valtrex, but my insurance paid fully for that. I went out to buy lysine, echinacea, and Vitamin C. I realized the echinacea was in gelatin capsules so I put those aside. After a couple of weeks of taking lysine I stopped taking that. I mainly will take a Vitamin C and multi-vitamin. Things I would take pre- H.
