Yes, absolutely. They are awesome, and historically important. They are something that I have no clue where I would even begin to look for info about them, and many of them probably have more bearing on our automotive world then say, Tractors do. (That's not a knock on tractors, just an observation).

My only suggestion would be to locate a one piece plastic float replacement.
Im my opinion anything you attempt to coat on will be eaten away by the modern fuel. That stuff is nasty on old technology.

I am researching a 1934
REO Speedwagon Fire Truck and finding very little information on that year of any speedwagon. I have been told that the serial number on the truck is odd. Does anyone have any advice on where to look for information on this truck?
