My advice is to have eyes all over your head. That blade will go where you least expect it on the opposite end of the one you are looking at! The tires are closer than they appear..lol. But all in all, it is a blast to run! My dad just took me for a ride in his and then got out and said..have fun. I was 17. The levers are intimidating but fairly easy to get used to. Good luck to you and have fun!

Would a Stihl power broom do? That was 3 years ago. This year so far it is a set of wind chimes. Grader is out of the question. No more parking room until I get rid of some stuff. Right now I am rebuilding a 2008 Shelby GT500 for her? maybe maybe not. __________________ 2 6 years IUOE Local 302 www.twhall.net

We've got fenders on our volvo G976, and i love them. No mud or water around on the grader at all. We had to make som modifications to the rear ones, to be able to use chains.(more room) But thats the only thing. I've bent and made some holes in the front ones, but nothing u can't repair. There is another thread here about fenders. http://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/...ead.php?t=7405 And some pics of ours in the Volvo 900...

I'm not familiar with a 6 speed Cat, been blessed with 8's. However, with them horsepower increases in the upper four gears, not decreases. My memory fails me with the G Series but with H's it jumps 20 h.p from 165 to 185 with a 3176C. The G as I remember it had 150 h.p.. I don't recall a VHP version of the G but that sure doesn't mean there wasn't one. I do know it's frustrating not having ...

Yes, I should have started a new thread on this. Thanks dumptrucker! I could go on for days on this subject. I suppose everyone is saying "oh no!"
Wheel chains is a good subject to start with. In one of our divisions it's all hills and I mean hills. We ran with this type of wheel chain and it worked really well. Gave the "bite" the operator needed.
