Thanks for that. If you've got a list of required filters handy, I could certainly use that. I've got a Case 125B Operators Manual on the way, but so far that's it. I'll probably corral a parts and shop manual before too long. I need to get into my search mode and start laying in the supplies. So far I've found the Oil Filter Wix 51800.

All of the PC8000-6 E's (4 in total) at Cerrejon Coal mine in Colombia have been converted from backhoe configuration to face shovel configurations. Here's a pic of another, newer PC8000-6 E face shovel at a La Loma Coal mine in Colombia the shovel is owned by the Drummond Company, Inc. which is a privately owned company based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States.

it looks like the intake and exhaust runners are coming out of the same side of the head. I've never seen that on any engine besides my old 60's toyota gasoline forklift. Must be a young whippersnapper,Geee I remember seeing my first cross flow head and it was the talk of the town, course it was a gasoline engine.

It must have made a real impact cause I can remember real good. Yes the Dorfman rig looks like they added to the stick and boom. Didn't they have some big American's or Northwests that cable hoes ...

The are 'Esco Conical' tips. The are a design that Esco launched back in the 60s and produced for many years. They have since stop producing them as once the patent runs out lots of aftermarket companies flood the market with them and they come up with a new design. They are still reasonably freely available from aftermarket companies such as this one http://www.bucket-teeth.net/ESCO-Bucket-...

That's pretty cool spitzair. I've worked around a number of foundation drills, but all mounted on truck chassis. I haven't seen one fitted to an excavator. Sure would be faster than setting up a truck on the spot.

It may well be your slew joint, this is the joint in the middle of the machine that the track motor pipes flow througth, the seals may be gone! This would be your cheapest way out! You can do a simple check on the motors them selfs, remove the covers on the back (between the two tracks) and you ll see the pipes there should be three pipes two large one small, if you remove the small one and ...
