Sorry to hear that. With you age, it will be difficult-- but not impossible-- to have children. If you want kids you need to see a reproductive endocrinologist right away. Like you said, life happens pretty damn fast and if you want children, you have only a small window of opportunity. It will be a costly investment, but you may end up with a little one in your arms if successful.

I am going through my own madness with spotting but I can tell you from what I know so far any kind of abnormal spotting or bleeding should be checked just to be sure.

Yeast Infection?
Published (2009-11-07 18:58:00)
If you're not 100% sure if it's a yeast infection, you should see a doctor. Last year I was SURE I had one and I treated it about 3 times with Monistat before going to the doctor, and I'm pretty sure I just screwed up my vagina even more by continually putting chemicals in it for something I didn't have (turned out not to be a yeast infection...).

lauri forgive me! a LEEP is the procedure they used to remove the CIN3 which is precancer of the cervix. they couldn't determine whether it was all removed so what I'm saying is that i'm worried the change in my period isn't a result of remaining cells progressing! I am the same as you. If something funky is going on in my body I want to know what I'm talking about before I go in too. My doctor sometimes asks me if...

That sounds serious. I think you should seek a second opinion from another neurologist. Isn't it a neurologist who deals with seizure disorders? That's what you should do. And don't wait too long. Thankfully no one in my family has seizures but I've always thought they were very serious and you need to find out what's going on so she can be properly treated for whatever is going on.

How long do you take the meds? If it's 7 days, then if it isn't totally well after 10 days, I'd go back.

I asked her today, and they dont seem to do it in the uk under a twilight anaesthetic, so if i have it done it will be a general. She says it takes about 10 mins for the procedure so i wot be having like loads of anaesthetic, but i definetely will be out, which messes with my blood pressure which goes lower than it normally is, which is low!! and i feel horrible for hours afterwards , so the Docs wont ever let me leave the hospital until my BP...

Hi Sheila one thing i am not sure about is the pain in my lower bowel (rectum area). Did you have that pain - a dull sharp ache pain like you have been kicked up the backside by a donkey?? almost a stinging type pain too......can't really describe it. i suppose it is going to be there considering what has been done, but it is very sore. Holly: Could you be having an allergic reaction to something? Have you changed laundry soaps, or any toiletries? Some of these manufacturers of laundry soaps are changing their products to make them more concentrated. I've had an irritation on my abdomen, right under the left breast. I think it's from the detergent. I use some cortizone-10 cream on it. It's hydrocortisone that reduces the ...

Lauri, I'd be interested in finding out what your GYN says. In the meantime, don't sweat it please! I found that after children and, especially during breastfeeding as I got older, my periods were doing just as yours, getting closer together. It was a real drag.
I had the usual types of evaluations and everything was completely fine. In the meantime, I went on birth control pills to ...

Menstrual blood will come from the uterus and out through your vagina. Blood in your urine comes from your urinary tract (kidneys, bladder, etc) and out the urethra with the urine. So they come from different places in your body but come out openings that are next to each other.

Go to a different doctor and tell him/her this is affecting your life and ask if there is anything medical wrong or do you need a referral to mental health. Anytime a doctor dismisses you without something helpful then you need to either be more insistent or just go to another doctor who is more willing to be helpful.
