Glabrata yeast - Page 13 -...
Published (2008-11-16 07:37:00)
Glabyes, I have never actually cultured positive for glabrata, or any yeast since over a year and a half ago, I had a regular itchy yeast infection. I now believe it has invaded my skin. You used lotrison straight for a week before you didn't burn? I only burn, no itch, no discharge, nothing vaginally at all. Just vulvar burning. I do get relief with my period, complete symptom relief actually. Dr. Crandall gave me an explanation about...

Yeah - I know that the MAP can mess up your body. I just think it is wierd that I experiencing the nausea now, after taking it about 6 weeks ago. I have decided to go for a blood test tomorrow as I am convinced that I am pregnant.

Ovarian Cyst
Published (2008-11-17 09:29:00)
Hello, You definitely need to get more information about this cyst. Get a copy of the radiology report. This will indicate what type of cyst you have. A simple, fluid filled, thin walled cyst (even of this size) is not an indication for surgery (although I am not familiar with your age or family history so this may have to be considered as well). A cyst that has solid components can normally be addressed in further detail by the radiologist .....

ovulation and period
Published (2008-11-18 11:55:00)
I keep reading that women get their periods 12 to 16 days after they ovulate (so using January 1st as a starting point, if the first day of your period is 1/1 and you have a 28-day cycle you would ovulate between Jan 13 -17 , but if you have something like a 36-day cycle you might ovulate Jan 21 - 25). Is this always the case? Does your body need that long between ovulation and bleeding, or can you ovulate within a few days of your period, or...

I actually didn't tell her about the numbness - I hadn't had a period in over two months when I saw her and it kind of slipped my mind.. I wasn't reminded of it until it happened today.... I can ask her next time, I am just curious as to if anyone else has experienced this, or knows whats going on.. Thanks for replying Shanna

I have been treating him. We havent had sex for a couple weeks and now the burning is back. Came back yesterday. I can't win. I have been tested for everything under the sun, all negative. Treated myself with a gynazole at the end of August, was clear for only 10 days. Used a garlic clove two weeks ago, that kept me clear for almost two weeks. Now the awful burn is back. And I went through this ...

Hi, I have a question about shorter, lighter periods. I'm 23 yrs. old, and for the last couple of months my periods have gotten shorter, first it went from 5 days to 4 days, and then from 4 days to 3 days. Also, during the last four months, my period fluctuates between it being a light period where I can't even tell if I'm bleeding, to having a normal, slightly heavy period. I was wondering if ...

Hey everybody! Here's the deal: I'm 45 and had my last pap in August. The results all came back normal. I had my normal cycle in September and October. Then, 3 days after my cycle ended, I started again. This was just under a month ago, with no signs of letting up. I have had no other pain, just the moderate constant bleeding. I saw my OB/GYN 1 1/2 weeks ago. She did a biopsy and...

Hi. I'm Kelly, I'm 19 and new to these boards. To get straight to the point: On October 27th I had surgery for imperforate hymen. Before or after, up until about a few days ago, I had never had any symtoms like the ones I am experiencing now so I'm pretty sure it was nothing I was already containing when I went into the hospital. I took one Diflucan about an hour ago and now my eyes have begun to itch and feel a little swollen. Could this be a Diflucan allergy or regular allergies? I heard the drug takes around 24 hours to start working, so would I be having a reaction to it this quickly? How do you treat it? I took two Benadryl, would that help at all?

Ok, here's the situation. I just had a baby girl, our second daughter. She will be 2 months old on Friday. I got pregnant with her when our first daughter was only six months old. Needless to say, although it was unexpected, I was thrilled. Now, don't laugh at me, or think I am crazy or whatever, although I am sure you will..... I am worried that I am pregnant again. I don't know for sure...

I would be grateful for any thoughts anyone has on this. I had sex with my n boyfriend on 26 and 27 Sept. We used condoms but because i dont trust them on their own, took Levonelle MAP on 28th. Felt ok and started what I thought was my period on 12 Oct. I also started taking birth control on the first day of "period" But it was very light, as i only needed a pantyliner but it was nearly black in...

Foul Odor - 2 new posts

I have been smelling a foul odor from my vaginal area. I don't have an itch, or any pain. The smell is like a wet sour kind of odor. I take a bath and wash thoroughly and in less than three or four hours I smell the odor. My panties are wet when I go to the bathroom. I'm not on any meds or anything like that.
