Turp a success but Scar tissue
Published (2009-11-08 06:26:00)
Soory to hear that things are not going to well for you mccltd. I have a visit scheduled for my Urologist, just to discuss options. I can feel as I pee restriction in the neck of the Penis so its wait and see what he says. I am no Doctor but...as many others have said on this site the recovery time for a Turp is at least four months often a lot longer and the pathway is different for everybody. I was fortunate to discuss the recovery path with...

Published (2009-11-10 22:29:00)
If anyone is suffering from constant feeling like you have to pee irritating pain or urethra pain or bladder spasms or pelvic pain. Please anyone share your ideas on the best way to deal with it (without meds) or suggestions of (meds) that don't make you feel sick or dizzy. Any home remedies or changes in everyday life to help deal with this? like foods or exersizes for it?

Thanks for the advice. I did end up going to the doctor because I was so uncomfortable; I was miserable. I just finished up a week of antibiotics on Thursday. So far the infection hasn't returned, so I guess I'm good. I plan on taking cranberry pills every day to help create an environment unfriendly to those baddies.

IC and starch intolerance - help
Published (2009-11-02 17:06:00)
Thank you John for taking the time to respond. Unfortunatley starch does include all grains, root vegtables, legumes, most nuts, bananas and some other fruits. The IC diet excludes acidic foods - citric fruits, cranberry juice, salad dressings, tomatoes, chocolate (thats a killer!), alcohol, coffee, tea (unless its acid free) to name a few. Gluten free products are ususally a no, as they contain starch in other forms. I am trying hard to keep...

Whenever I use the restroom I burn!!! My clitoris seems as if it's on fire. I drink plenty of water so I don't think the ph level of my urine is acidic. Any suggestions?

dontlikecold, I'm sorry to hear about this ADDED issue with everything else you seem to be dealing with. I have been "self cathing" for almost 11 years now due to a "neurogenic bladder". First of all cathing should NEVER be painful, so who ever was doing it to you in the past either didn't know what they were doing OR you have a problem with your urethra being narrow, or some sort of an ...
