Yes we still have alot of leaves on the ground, usually we don't have snow by now, hopefully we'll have some nice weather ahead before winter sets in. I know your right, everyone thinks "oh once she gets her new teeth she'll be fine" (everyone thinks I just keep getting bad dentures) but I agree with you it will be an adjustment and who knows if its all related to the bite or not at this point. You have sure...

What did the NUCCA practitioner do to the jaw and how long was it for? Also, how long did you have your tinnitus for? Was the onset of your somatic tinnitus due to stress or due to a removal of a tooth or something and could you manipulate the sound of your tinnitus with your neck and jaw? I want to be armed with as much knowledge as possible before going to see the doctor again. They usually tell you to live with stuff like this but I...

I have been suffering with several types of dizziness and vertigo since the age of 9 (now 30) and have since been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Hypothyroidism. These both cause dizziness and the MS has shown this on the MRI scan. I also suffer with TMJD and it clicks everytime I eat anything. I wonderered whether it could be partly to blame? I have suffered recently with a blocked ear sensation and general dizziness (not spinning) that...

So I have had issues with tmj for years now. However, just lately I have had swelling on my right jaw cheek and neck. It actually feels like someone has punched me in all three of those areas. When I touch it it stings, I went to my dentist he gave me an antibiotic so the swelling has gone away but still have pain there. Also I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor as well. I was chewing gum about one week ago and I swear right after...

Anyone use an inversion table and like it, my pelvis is twisted. TL- thanks for your opinion on inversion tables. I have read pros and cons, but like you said with neck problems it probably wouldn't be good. If I were you , you said that your dentist knows a few other good chiros, you might check one of them out for a second opionion, or wait for your splints and see what happens. I ...

I have been diagnosed with TMJ by several different types of professional. They all tell me to stay away from all hard foods to avoid chewing, limited talking, NO singing, very little laughing, and to make sure my jaw is always relaxed. I did as I was told for a couple of months but it didnt help anything one bit. Its so annoying! I cant even open my mouth all the way. When ever I yawn, cough, ...

Hi, I am 25 years old. I have had a high pitched ringing sound in my left ear for 3 weeks now and a thumping/fluttering in my right ear for 4 months. I visited the doctor regarding the high pitched ringing and was given sodium bicarbonate (5%) ear drops because I had excess wax in my ears and the doctor couldn't see my ear drums. The ear wax has cleared up but the ringing ...

Hi everyone! I’ve posed here a few times regarding the changes to my facial appearance. I just want to know if anyone else is in the same boat as me… My jaw has been locked (right disc does not recapture) for 2.5 years and over that time my face has changed significantly (I am able to open around 30mm). I first noticed that the sides of my face sunk in and then my temple area soon ...

Hello, I have been living with a numb jaw/cheeks sensation for about 5 years now and it is starting to really aggrivate me as I cant find a cure for it. I first though I had TMJ and then blamed wisdom teeth. The wisdom teeth have been removed and TMJ is not a believable reason to me at this time. I mainly get the sensation when I meet new people or in an uncomfortable environment. I came to ...

I have been suffering from brain fog for over a year now and was wondering if there was any link between it and TMJ dysfunction. The reason I ask is because I was told be a ear specialist this could be the case. I also get a feeling of fullness in the ear and when I open and close my mouth I can hear a faint clicking, but only on one side. I occasionally get headaches but my symptoms don't seem ...

Here is my story... Three weeks ago I ate some very spicy food and didn't drink much of anything. The next day, I had burning in my chest and throat. This lasted for 2 days and I went to my doc who said it was acid reflux and prescribed me Prilosec for 14 days. I took the Prilosec and on day 2 the burning went away and I was fine. By day 4 on Prilosec, I developed this feeling of a "lump" in...
