Bad coughing, now side pains!!
Published (2009-11-14 12:23:00)
Hard coughing can strain muscles and you feel like you have a cracked rib. Is this the kind of pain you have. If so, only time will heal. You may need to have an x-ray to see if you actually do have a cracked rib, it can happen from coughing. Also, you may have a strained muscle right where it attaches to the ribs.

I certainley wish you luck Robin! It is so frustrating when your body is doing things that it shouldnt and we have no idea what on earth it is. I am assuming that when I e-mail my doctor that it goes to the nurses and then gets passed on, hopefully. I do sometimes have to chase them up for results sometimes. I have watched documentaries on the USA health system and it does make me quite thankful of our health system in New Zealand. Even if the...

Have you been checked for Lupus? Lupus seems to fit with the symptoms that you have. "Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder. It may affect the skin, joints, kidneys, and other organs." -Google.

I think because bullets can enter the body a lot deeper then the average 'shanking' knives That would make it easier for the bullets to permanently damage the vital organs. Im not 100% sure, mind you, but good observation!

I can't believe that, with all the blood work done on your mother, that they didn't test her blood sugar or cholesterol levels. Not that there is much I could offer, anyway. I am just a fellow patient, with major health problems of my own, and limited medical knowledge. I was just thinking that her metabolism, or hormones, might be out of balance, causing some of her problems. Out of balance blood sugar levels can cause all kinds of...

Stop smoking. Create a desire to stop smoking and you will be able to overcome the addiction, enjoy better health, save boo-koodles of money. Drink more water to keep body hydrated. Take Mucinex to keep phlegm thinned and easier to get rid of. Zyrtec would help allergy from whatever is in the air now. I have a daughter that drives me up the wall, I feel sorry for your husband...

Hi neen0 It seems like you may not have any acute illness, according to test results, but that some problems are developing, which may be rather simple to halt if you take action. I found this info ~ http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/ 003104.htm You could have the beginnings of arthritis, and if so, most of what I wrote applies to dealing with it. For sure, ...

You're not going to like my answer but I think you could benefit from seeing a therapist. Out of control anger with no reason for it is a problem and they deal with emotions that are out of control. Think of therapy this way....you've just walked into a completely dark room full of overturned furniture. You can spend a lot of time fumbling around feeling the pieces and trying to put the room...

I just started this combo about two weeks ago. I've heard, because of how hair grows, it can take 4 to 6 months to see any effect. I'm not expecting new hair growth but I'd like to see some slowing of the hair "shedding" I've experienced from having chronic inflammatory arthritis + medications. NatureMade Super B-Complex, an extra 500 mcg B12 and Biotin 2500mcg. These are all small pills, ...

The sympathetic nervous system kicks in on its own and causes our bodies to release adrenalin and noradrenalin. Noradrenalin relaxes the smooth muscle in the walls of the blood vessels. When this happens the diameter of the vessel increases and more blood passes through the vessel. This is called vasodilation. The ears will feel warm and red. This usually happens when a person feels nervous,...

I've had to fight against Heart Failure, Pre-Diabetes (Insulin Resistance), Metabolic Syndrome, and Immune System Dysfunction, and in as such suffer from frequent pericardial effusions.
