Look up "cheilitis", sounds like it to me.
Angular cheilitis is characterized by cracks radiating from the angles of the mouth. Let me know.

you should
never assume anything, but you can still have herpes and not have any symptoms, so my best advice would be to go and be tested just to get the status, if it was recent then you may want to wait 12-16 weeks after your expsoure it can take that long for it to show up in the blood. Ask for the igG test it is most accurate. Fyi if you do have it then you can still pass it to others, ...

I would mention it to the ob/gyn immediately and have them test you for herpes just to be safe. Ask for the
igg specific blood test not the igm ( its useless ) and when these sores appear they need to be swabbed 24/48 hours of appearing so they can be tested correctly. I dont want to scare you but herpes can be dangerous for an unborn infant, get tested a.s.a.p. See herpes test are not a standard...

Try using valtrex, change your diet no chocalate, no nuts no coffee and most of all NO STRESS. THIS IS A BIG REASON FOR OUTBREAKS. Also try lysine 1000mg vitamins daily you can get them at the pharmacy. Try
baking soda to dry the sores out it works for me cause i was diagnosed in 4/08 and i get outbreaks constantly so i know how frustrating it is. Be well and god bless.

i believe its highly unlikely... but make sure if you do touch the sore you use sanitizer or soap and
wash your hands.... i think there have been cases of a person spreading it to their eyes... any thoughts anyone?
