I lost weight and dyed my hair. That helped so much. But for thinning hair, my husband uses nulockz. This stuff is awesome. Not only is he growing hair he hasn't grown in years, they have this stuff you sprinkle on for instant results as if he grew hair in a minute. no joke! There are tons of positive reviews everywhere too, that's why we tried it.

Hi, Skippy . . . it is not so much the position of my arm but rather if I have been using them a lot or if I get over-heated (notice it more in the summer than in the winter). I agree about blocking the artery during the times I have had my arms behind my head and my head resting on my hands. When I put my arms and hands down, I will notice it then, too. Perhaps being over-heated and working with them a lot causes a bit of blocking, too? Lindaru

Searfass, I saw "Benjamin Button" so I know what you mean. I'm older and much healthier now than I was when I was young. The reason is because I have learned how to take care of myself. You wouldn't think so but it can take several decades to learn. I remember watching Jack Lalanne on TV when I was about 10 or 11. He was a healthy role model. I admired the fact of him being in good physical condition but I never...

Thank You so much ScarlettA--the fountain of youth is such a rough thing to chase--I know one thing I'm not about to spend tons of dollars on it--I've always wondered about the skin's elasticity but like so many things, like you said, it is what it is..Live life happily and accept the fact that you are aging. It's funny how we used to look forward to being an adult then.....Such is life, right? Merry Christmas

Yea out of all the ills I wish I had Benjamin Button's disease. I'm only 30 and sometimes I feel like I'm a senior citizen. I better be as healthy as Jack Lalane when I'm older. The way I see it is its cosmic retribution. Instead of having problems when I'm an old man, I'm having them now so I'm healthy when I'm old.

Ahhh, this thread is so much fun.. I'm 54.5 and feel the same way as most of you.. the camera certainly can be cruel!! No one mentioned sunscreen.. I've been using a good sunscreen since my early 30's daily and really like Nutrogena's dry touch.. it really does not "grease" up the skin and works well. I also use unscented night cream's..just store brands and they work the best for me.. so skin care...

When I hit age 60, I thought - "This isn't so bad"! I was slim, still had thick hair, and was able to do a credible make-up job on my face. I was also taking HRT, and felt fabulous. I thought I looked good for my age, and had fewer health problems than I had had in my 50's. Everything changed as I approached the Big 7-0! By the time I arrived at 70, it was a true turning point. It was like a switch was thrown...

shaila, Have you tried feeding your skin from the inside by eating healthful whole foods? Cut down on processed foods in favor of whole foods and get your fats from nuts and olive oil. Avoid excessive sun exposure and alcohol.

I think that many sunscreens have PABA (sp?) in them that cause allergy in some people. Try to find a sunscreen that does not have PABA. I may have the letters mixed up but think it is called PABA. Has been a long time since I looked for sunscreens.

Look into Murad skin care products-I swear by them. You will notice a difference in 3 weeks. I am 50 and even the dermatologist (no work done had a mole) commented about my skin and did a double take about my age, she thought I was 38. If you smoke-stop!

Albert Einstein said that time is relative and he gave an example something like this: He said if you're sitting on a park bench by yourself (waiting for a bus?) time goes slow, but if you're sitting on a park bench with a pretty girl, time goes fast. Something like that. I remember when I was little and wanted to start school. I kept asking my mother when I'd be old enough. I couldn't ...

isolated99, Does your husband qualify for social security? If he collects social security, then you will also be able to collect (about 1/2 of his amount) at age 62. This would be a seperate check mailed to you or deposited to your checking account.
