I think the key word is dissipation. You can't get rid of an electrical charge. It has to go somewhere. If my brain is wrapped around the whole concept you don't really generate electricity. You merely gather it up in a single place by using a generating device. Same type of thing.

Yea I hear ya WRG... I need one with a 24.75" scale... Definitely let me know if you come across one. Right now, I'm looking at MightyMite and with my discount I can get it for around 80... So hoping to find something cheaper... AllParts has a couple cheaper for about 60, and the plus is that it is a blank paddle so I can make my own head for it...

making conductive paint??
Published (2009-11-09 06:02:00)
"The problem might still exist, even if you could make a conductive contact point the particles are insulated from each other by being encapsulated in the paint. Statistically you might get a conductive path with millions of particles but I don't know for sure". This is the same for all conductive paints isnt it? Anyway, Thats is what the manufactures told me they used. I have store bought guitars with that stuff on...

Yeah, we might have to work something out. I was planning to make myself a full set of 4” and 8” blocks, I’m sure I could make a few more if you’re serious. Oh and BTW the router is older than my daughter and she’ll be 25 Xmas eve. I’m making a fret beveling thing-a-ma-bob too I’ll post pics when it’s done. Fixture are you serious?

**Krylon Magnetic paint for shielding guitar interiors. $7 isnt exactly expensive. A case is around 35$.
Way better that that foil you were dorking around with.

Well, the concept is simple enough, Jazz Master body with a tele bridge and reversed tele control plate (with the 5-way) and 2 single coils hiding under the pickguard.
If I missed something there or you can provide more detail that would be great. Really never looked too overly deep into this specific guitar. As it is not really my cup of tea, but hey, Im all for it if you like it, so ...

Your question is unclear with your use of terminoligy. Are you talking
about a through body neck or gluing a neck to a body?

If the L500 is what was sold in the Washburn N2, it's a great humbucker. My
N2 is from the early 90s, and it sounds great cranked, with the volume knob
backed off, and in split mode. One of my favorite rock humbuckers.

Wow. That's actually really similar to one of my guitars, it was an Eko 12-string (bolt-neck acoustic) and the head had snapped, someone (not me, this happened prior to the guitar coming into my possession) had coated half the headstock with epoxy (no screws though, that's just ). Mine actually held up though, I carved down the neck heel and bolted it to a cheap SG body and it's been fine for 8...

I am probably wrong im saying this, but I have a ton of different schematics for just about everything..... Anyways, I have been looking at some pedal schematics that I have which run with 9 volt or adapter and Im not seeing anything in there diode wise. Which to me makes sense because if you use just a 9v adapter, the flow that would make its way back through the battery would be no different ...

I have never actually used a pre-made mod kit like that before, but would
be very interested in hearing what you have to say about them if you get
one.

If the headstock has been replaced I don't see it being put back to stock without a complete restoration & refinish. That said, get some phucking shielding paint & go to it.

Most like the orange drop or bumble bee caps. I think the square porcelin
are the best tone wise. I dont use tone controlls much except on my tele
when I have new strings. The tele has a small square green one which are
made of the same stuff the orange drops are.
