Traded my Dyna Superglide today .... bought an 08 Heritage Softail Classic. Loved the Dyna ..... great bike, but the wife and I needed a bigger, heavier bike and my new Heritage fit the bill. Lost a few bucks moving up but it was worth it and the wife is so much happier on the back of this beast! So ..... Happy to be here and hope to get to know all of you in the coming months....

Youve seen them, the softail deluxe or heritage thats lowereed with either a 21" front or 18" front with whitewalls. Reason y Im askin is, Im thinking about buyin another bike. I noticed that there is an orange and yellow wire that comes out of the bottom of the tank on the left side, directly below the emblem of my 06 Heritage.&nbsp\\; This came to my attention as the clip the holds the wires to the under side of the tank came off.&nbsp\\; A little double-sided tape and it''s all back on.&nbsp\\; My question is what are these wires for?&nbsp\\; Since the seem to be ...

Hi guys , I have popping sounds on my V&H exhaust when I ease of the throttle is this happening because it is running rich a bit ? My bike is a HD NT 08 with big sucker , V&H SLS and the Dobeck TFI installed set on stage one . bike has only done 120 miles .. any ideas please. Reg lapua

I cant manage my time to ride 2 bikes, wife was bitching all the time, Sportster has to go. I paid $10,999 cad in Sep 2006, HD dealer gave me a $1,500 in-strore credit for accessories, total paid $9,499. I sold it to a guy for $9,300 today, 16,000km 2 years riding, my loss is $199. I have to take the loss on the accessories but not a big deal. Do I miss my Sportster? Yes but my Fatboy ...

Anybody else notice that any round key will unlock the kidney shaped chrome toolbox from HD? If so did you do anything to change it? I''m just waiting for one of my riding pals to unlock it with their ignition key sometime and replace my tool kit with a copperhead or something.
