I ride a 2006 FLHRCI Road King Classic, 5 speed. Live in the N/W Montana (Rocky Mountain) area. Our temps run from maybe 90s/100 in summer and the lows can dip into the high 30s at times. It;s all over the place ! Recommended tranny weight ? Just checked the Dealer Locater for Spectro, 100 mile radious, nothing - nadda ! (EDITED) , price you pay for livin in the woods... I changed my primary oil and ran the plug back in about the same amt that it was originally. No leaks but it does have oil on the plug - I should have used some teflon tape or locite - I WILL next time for sure. I checked at the HD shop and the new plugs are flat head with oring - too big for my bike tho so I am still using the...

Well some good news...the Walmart in the adjoining town just started converting to a Super Store and is carrying Mobil I V-Twin 20W/50 for $8.97 per bottle...just $2 more than the Lucas 100% Syn 20W/50 I have been using with good results. May want to try it the next time around on my Sporty...just to see! The Lucas 100% Syn 20W/50 is $6.99 at O'Reilly/Kragen Auto Parts has been working great for the past 3 oil changes...ran out brown...
