So, I'm planning to make a PC case out of a beer crate. Beer crate? (dunno the exact term in English :P) Well it looks like this: I also have the motherboard tray: So now I need to get all the 'holders' out of it and place the tray in it (Well some more modding is nice, isn't it? I didn't see a lot of mods here @ DH)

Hi there, So at the moment I have a Prolimatech Megahalems, one of the best CPU air coolers out there.. So a while ago I saw an ad where a guy wanted to exchange his Corsair H50 for a decent air cooler (TRUE, Megahalems, NH-D14). Is this a good deal? Or do you think that I shouldn't do it? Please explain. I'm quite charmed by the H50, but maybe the deal isn't that good (I ...

Figured i'd create a new thread voicing some minor quibbles or questions. I'm finding out that the RV02's 180mm fans are tough to come by and for some, they have failed on them. And further investigation, shows that these fans just can't be replaced with ease as the 3 fans are actually wired directly into the 2 speed switch, which means that replacing 1 of the 3 means your potentially ...

I'm running a 32bit vista and I'm having trouble upgrading the ram. My tower came with two 1-gig ram cards and four slots in the motherboard. Whenever I tried 3-4 ram cards it always gives me a looping beep at start up. I've tried updating the BIOS and I'm at a loss as the new ram cards are compatible when switched with the old ones.

Didn't really know where to put this find but I have been very curious. It looks to me like there is a phase-change system out there that is not hugely expensive. At least compared to others in its category. OCZ Cryo-Z Phase Change Single Evaporator CPU Cooling Unit HOT ITEM!!! ( OCZTCRYO ) Sockets (478 / 754 / 775 / 1156* / 1366* / 939 / 940 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 ) - FrozenCPU.com Anyone...
