It's a focal length thing so I decided from now to post at an equivalent of 50mm which gives the most life like image proportions. It's...

No Motivation To Have a HT!

Well dude, if the loss got to a point where you could no longer "disguise" it (which it most LIKELY will happen eventually), then you will have to shave your head down. Have you tried that before ? I'd suggest shaving it to see if you could "live with" that look. If not, then as it inevitably gets more serious trust me, you WILL have the will to travel accross the world and feel grateful that a clinic even exists that...

Yes, Cole produces really natural results with anything having to do with the hairline. And he is more affordable than other docs and the nonshaven aspect is great. My only issue with him is the larger than necessary punch size resulting in white dot scarring. Not really an issue unless you're planning on shaving down later on.

Combo procedure...FUE and Strip

I like Spex' response to this because bottom line, it really does depend on exactly where the extractions will be taken including the parietal areas (sides) and also the history of the patient. They need to be physically examined when contemplating the use of both approaches.

Perhaps more clarification is needed in the title as to the intention of your post? Maybe it's only me, but I assumed it was you, who had the bad experience with Dr. Umar. Seems a bit unfair to the Doctor upon further inspection.

I have already had a HT but could do with a second pass.
I am in a similar situation where I can't get round to making a decision on when to have this done.
Its a big step to take and the best advice I can give you is to do it when you are ready.

Saw the new gavin and stacey episode, Brydons hair is a little confusing, his hair used to be brown now its jet black, the front definately looks better but as you go back it was thinner plus it was a side parting so its hard to tell how good it looks.
The different colour makes you believe concealer, black hair and black concealer would look better, brown hair is a little harder to get right....

Does anyone have experience with Dr. Pong from Thai Hair Clinic? how good were the results (coverage, regrowth rate, healing time etc.)?.
Hoping to get some good advice before plunging.
Many thanks,
Mitch.
No. Some guy metioned something about his associate ping. Never heard of ping or pong.

Have you thought about how such a tattoo would look when you're an old man? I'm personally not a fan of them and it's probably more of a statement these days to not get a tattoo, but if that's your thing then I'm sure that the right design could easily disguise a strip scar. With a scar there is an interruption in the texture of the skin so the design would probably need to detailed to break ...

As a BHT patient I'll simply say this:
IMO, if you have "robust" BH, realistic expectations and the right doctor, BHT has it's place in repair and expanding the traditional donor source.
However, BH will never rival the length and quality of head-hair (unless one is a Wookie).
Beard hair however, might just give head-hair a run for its money assuming one has a thick beard.
Just my ...

Can this follica thing grow hair where there hasn't been any hair at all or would this just simply grow back hair in areas where it has been lost?

Hey WW4H---we are looking for the right candidate for this approach.
We think either the very bald who want a max graft approach, or for those in your situation who have limited donor via strip left, but still can harvest via FUE are good candidates for this approach.
We are thinking more and more about this, have not actively approached it with many.
Let me know, we have not done it...
