Assault weapons-A Politician's View: Assault weapon means anything that can be used to kill one person by another person in under 4 hours. This means anything ranging from a .223 AR-15 or an AK-47 to a spoon. __________________ "Time is the best teacher of all. Unfortunately, it kills all it's pupils." My job buys me a pair every year and price is not an issue, I can buy what I want to wear. I have tried Red Wings and thought them very over-rated. They last longer than most but I replace them every year so that does not matter. I will not put anything on my feet with a steel toe except Timberland Pros. Next time you are in a boot store, pick a a Red Wing and carry it over and pick up a Timberland Pro and compare the two. __________________...

Don't. Just use a nice oiled rag. Took me 6 hours to clean mine... Today I found the Cosmoline had seeped INTO the wood. I shot 40 through mine and saw some Cosmo BOILING off of the handguard... Cool sight, but freaks you out if you're not expecting it. __________________ "Time is the best teacher of all. Unfortunately, it ...

I think that talk about that is premature. Even in the darkest days after the election, I was of the persuasion that in about a year, a lot of voters would wake up, realized they were duped, and turn on the Kenyan. Well, that seems to be the case. Next year's midterms should atone for this, but if there is evidence of funny business to keep democrooks in power, it could get ugly.

It is tough to CCW an M-14, a Model 700, or an AR-15. Lots of new gun owners are, IMHO, not so much into the shooting aspect as they are the defensive side of ownership. As such, handguns are selling well and if you adhere to the "never bring a handgun to a shotgun fight", having a 20 or 12 gauge for home use isn't a bad idea. The new handgun owners may, after time, realize ...

I need to go watch Red Dawn, and watch a bunch of red blooded Americans wack some commies now. Maybe then I'll feel better. I like it though. Pretty funny. I imagine my Dad watching it when he was young, saying "What the hell is an -ism?"

that's a steaming pile of BS right there. I don't see how medical mj is any different than prescription pain killers. as long as they are not carrying when they are intoxicated, they would be fine, just like alcohol.

True unemployment is actually higher than that by a fair margin. The current "formula" does not count "discouraged workers" (folks who have been out of work more than 6 mos or maybe a year) and some other convenient things that are left out and allow it to be reported LOWER than what it really is
