Did you load them all to the same velocity? It's the only way to have a uniform comparison. Of the 3, HS6 is the slower burning, requires more pwoder to achieve the same vel.

I'm interested in seeing comparison photos with other premium JHP's, as well as comparison tests; particularly in the classic 4-layer denim barrier. I'm also wondering about the bullet weights & velocities...couldn't find anything on your site that mentioned this.

I'm carrying Win. SXT (aka Ranger T) now, but it's tough to find locally. I've carried Gold Dots and will again. Great round IMHO.

So what were your thoughts from shooting all three? It seemed there was a distinct difference in the sound each produced. The Universal seemed to be a little more crisp but lighter recoil. Unique looked to be the smokiest, which is no surprise. Interested in what your impressions were.

I run Georgia Arms ammo all the time. Accurate and runs much cleaner than WWB and Blazer Brass. I travel to Atlanta every couple months so I normally run up to the store and pick up a can of 45, 9mm or 223 whatever is in stock. Great people. They only started having internet ordering issues when the ammo craze started. They are a small shop and when I was there the last time, they were still ...

The main difference isn't penetration with FMJ it's over penetration. The whole idea behind defense ammo is to stop the threat with the least amount of shots and the least amount of colateral damage. FMJ tends to go through the target and continue on it's path endangering other people.

That's funny. The first brand I thought of when I saw the title of this thread was "UMC". Next would be WWB, but the Remmy stuff is bad.

Now you need to shoot two hundred rounds of the HST to see if you can reliably carry it.

If you decide to do some type of commercial brass polish make sure it's OK to use on case brass. If memory serves me right don't use any product with ammonia in it. Lots of smart folks here ... I bet you will get a better answer than what I just gave.
