Mine is smooth but if it gets pretty dry it will start to get a
hazy look to it. I assume that is what your talking about. Oil her up and see what happens.

+1 on the FLITZ. It also works well for me if I have any carbon
fouling i cant quite get off but dont want to use a metal brush.
