Hogue or pachmayr on a XD 9mm SC

Here is a third option. It's an Uncle Mike's slip on grip from Butler Creek Products. It's a large that is cut down, but they have a medium that would fit also. I just happened to already have this one. I don't know why, but I like how it puts your middle finger by itself and the pinky and ring finger together. Also, it doesn't add much girth so it is still easy to completely push down the grip safety. It's a...

I was considering both also. I have heard a rumor that Truglo is working on second gen TFO's. Has anyone tried the epoxy fix on the TFO's. __________________ Total NOOB. Brand new XD SC 9mm.

I've used paddle holsters on and off for a year now with 3 different handguns. Until now I've used Fobus holsters - cheap but effective and usually comfortable enough. Friday night I bought a Comp-Tac paddle holster in the FBI/forward cant at a local gun shop for $52.50 ($5 off list price) and I have to say it's a big improvement over the Fobus. For starters, it's more comfortable. The Fobus has tabs on the backside of the...

As stated polishing would be your best bet. Todd at http://customizedcreationz.com/ did some polishing for me a few years ago. I'd be interested to see if Crimson Trace ever adds green to their line up (would they need to change the "Crimson" part of their name )

From what I read, Armalaser is chit. I ended up getting the X2L light/laser combo for my SC .40. I also looked at the crimson trace, which is a nice product since you don't have to worry about holster options. Are you using the laser for HD, GP, or range shooting?

I know what you mean about collecting holsters. I started out much the same as you have, just trying to figure out what works for me and what doesn't. The Serpa is a good holster, but it does stand out too much. The two slot pancake that Don Hume makes appears to be a good one. I use a similar design of my own construction that works very well for me. So that could be a good choice for you....

A sight pusher is really the only way to do it the right way. I've seen a few people hammer theirs out and it looks like crap. I would pay to get it done if I were you. There are cheaper places to do just the sights, but if you want the carry package then go for it.
